The Job

This role's primary focus is the business analysis focused on Transaction Reporting within Regulatory Change. The role will be as a Business Analyst working on the Transformation team within NFRR, Tax and Credit Reporting Operations. The key purpose of the role is to work in tandem with project managers to support deploying change within bank's Non Financial Regulatory Reporting (NFRR) capability which includes Transaction Reporting.

The extent of the Transformation team's involvement in projects depends on the ownership, nature, scale and complexity of each. For some projects the team manages the initiative from inception through to implementation of the solution. In delivering a project, the team works closely with the Transaction Reporting Controls Group, Global Markets Operations functions, as well as other stakeholders including the Front Office/COOs, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Legal and Tax.

The APAC TR project portfolio for 2024 and beyond still has some uncertainties regarding scope and timelines, and therefore we would like to build some flexible capacity through this resource to join and cover either business analysis and/or PM related activities depending on work demand.

The Talent

• Significant experience working in business analysis/project management

Requirements

• Deep and extensive knowledge and experience on oil products and crude for trading and marketing in Japanese oil refining company
• Master’s degree holder and above qualifications
• Proficiency in English and Japanese languages required for business development and liaising with staff during the whole course of work (listening, reading, speaking, writing)
• Minimum 5 years working experience in Japanese oil refining company
• Minimum 4 years working experience at an oil refinery

Job Scope:
• Act as first Escalation point for emerging or sudden supply disruption and provide administrative support for all forecast, purchasing, inventory and logistic-related matters.
