Job Scope

Under the general guidance of the Director of Finance, you oversee and direct all aspects of the finance function, including the accounting operation, financial reporting, managing relationships with lenders and compliance with tax and other governmental authorities.

Reports directly to the Director of Finance on all day-to-day operational matters affecting the hotel, and directly to the Director of Finance on all finance matters.

Essential Responsibilities

• Supervises the accounting department of the Hotel

Job Description

• Coordinate with consultant CM, PE, RTO in daily activities, monthly claim, site progress updating, site inspection, testing and discussion etc
• Responsible for planning and monitoring of work progress on site such as PC installation, Rebar Installation, BBS Schedule, Pre and Post Concreting Work, Grouting and Excavation Work
• Prepare master program and construction sequence for client review, prepare method statement and drawings discrepancies, review project specification and technical clarification
• Handling technical, feedback, suggestions and engineering problems on site
• Target and ensure timely and smooth progress of works within the budget time frame
• Liase with authorities such as LTA, PUB, Npark, SP, Town councils to obtain relevant authority permit as preliminary works and technical meeting
• Coordinate internally with inter-department and externally with clients & consultants
• Update and submit monthly project report, cash flow and prepare for extension of time request if required
• Attend management meeting and raise issue that required solution on site Oversees construction at site to meet the project progress and quality goals
• Prepare monthly works done calculation claim with Clients and ensure that project schedule is being meet & cost control
• Oversee all site projects operations, functions and requirements, Coordination, supervision & monitoring the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning & ordering
• Coordinate with contractor, suppliers on all project implementation issues and attend site meetings when required, and to ensure for all submission is submit in time
• Attend meetings, conduct site inspection on work progress to ensure quality control in accordance to meet authority requirement. Produce weekly site progress report and necessary submission
• Ensure all legal requirements under Singapore laws are compiled and ensure all standard operating procedures comply with specifications quality standards statutory and regulatory requirements
• Assist contract department in verifying progress claims from contractors and clients and settlement for final claims for account closing
• Planning site logistic (rebar and mesh order/ delivery, concrete order /delivery)
• Establish proper and effective document control system, maintain & conduct reviews of detail design drawings, project documents and specifications
• Monitor and update draft person accordingly for as built drawing for CSC submission, Maintain and monitor quality controls
• Identify and access any foreseeable risk arising from the workplace, minimize environmental impact associated with the construction activities, perform general administrative duties such as drafting correspondences, record meeting minutes, filing and data entry

Standard Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by PE Board, BCA or IES registered Resident Engineer (RE)
• Able to handle AutoCAD or relevant drawings submission
• At least 6 years’ experience in civil construction projects
• Prefer bilingual in communication in view to liaise with clients & consultants
• Those who can start immediately or within a short notice period will have an added advantage.
