Responsibilities
- Contributing to the business development for our Logistics and Business Management Division in the Southeast Asia, India, and Middle East region, including customer segmentation, development of go-to-market strategy, development of new service offerings, marketing plans, leading business development and sales opportunities.
- Developing and implementing new risk and regulatory strategies, and policies of Business Development in our Logistics business.
- Supporting Partners and advisory in the development of Logistics strategy.
- Monitoring, analysing, and communicating emerging Logistics Business trends.
- Identifying, researching, evaluating and/or resolving Logistics issues impacting to the business, including conducting control reviews or gap analysis for existing processes, as needed.
- Analysing and reporting operational Logistics events, identifying root causes of control breakdowns, developing remediation plans, performing scenario analysis reviews.
- At the local entity level, maintaining oversight of the entity’s compliance with local regulations on Logistics Business requirements.
- Assisting with various ad-hoc initiatives and projects taking place across the border business.
Requirements
- The successful candidate will be bachelor’s degree qualified with more than 7 years’ working experience in Warehouse, Flight Forwarding, 3rd Party Logistics, Logistics, Sales & Marketing.
- You will also be described as someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to deal with the senior stakeholders within the group.
- Experience in Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management, Third Party Logistics Business Development, Flight Forwarding and operation process.
- Experience in SAP/WMS (System Analysis Program/Warehouse Management System) or Experience in customizing Logistics Management System.
- Experience in collating and proposing Pricing Benchmarks through competitive analysis from market data.
- Strong analytical skills including the ability to think critically and logically, creative problem solving and excellent decision-making skills.
- Due to the significant interaction with Japan Based Stakeholders, Japan Headquarter, Regional Office and the Japanese market, fluency in Japanese language spoken and written is essentially a MUST for reports, proposals, and presentations with a proven ability to produce, review and edit written documentation.
