The Southeast Asia Business Exchange (SEABX) initiative was announced by the Prime Minister of Australia, Anthony Albanese, at the ASEAN Indo-Pacific Forum in Jakarta on 6 September as part of Australia’s Southeast Asia Economic Strategy to 2040. As part of the SEABX program, Austrade is looking for an experienced Business Development Director (BDD) to join the team in Singapore. The SEABX BDD will work with colleagues in Singapore, Australia, and across the region to:

• Drive awareness amongst Australian businesses of the opportunities in Singapore and Southeast Asia.

This is dynamic business partner role supporting the project leaders on project financials and performance. You will work closely with the project teams on project related matters and the GL team during month end close to ensure accurate recording of costs and revenue. You will take the lead on budget preparation for projects under your charge and assist with audit queries during the year end audit.
