The Opportunity:
Adecco is partnering with a client in the luxury FMCG industry and they are looking for a Supply Chain Production Coordinator to join their team! Reporting to the Production Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for all communications and coordination with a prominent strategic Korean supplier and Chinese suppliers for a principal brand. The successful candidate will handle packaging sourcing and planning, production orders planning and exchange, and completing the goods flow with the dispatch of finished goods to worldwide customers.
- 3-6 months contract for a maternity cover
- Work location: Pioneer (2-way company transport available at Boon Lay, Jurong East, and Outram MRT station)
- Work hours: Mon - Fri, 9am - 6pm
- Luxury FMCG industry
- Basic salary up to $4,000/month + pro-rated completion bonus!
The Job:
Marketing Offers and Production Strategy
- The main point of contact to receive key information from HQ regarding new projects and products
- Work closely with HQ packaging development teams and regional demand management team on production strategy to be deployed to meet commercial targets
- Monitor and track item processes in systems such as item code creation, bill of materials, item status and parameters, pricing etc
Components
- Order components from suppliers, taking into account replenishment, receiving, consumption, and stock considerations
- Work closely with key stakeholders to manage the ordering and shipment of components to production facilities in APAC region
Supplier Production Plans
- Collaborate with suppliers to create production plans and ensure their precise implementation
- Share shipping plans for components and finished goods with suppliers and oversee their execution
- Ensure production and shipping plans are reflected accurately in systems for visibility and tracking
Singapore Assembly Plans
- Participate and facilitate assembly activities, and oversee assembly work orders with the production team, ensuring comprehensive management covering service level, stock level, and transportation aspects
Service and Stock
- Monitor the entire process closely and alert stakeholders to any delays or issues
- Suggest initiatives to enhance collaboration with suppliers and subcontracting processes
The Talent:
- Prior experience in areas of Supply Chain such as Production Planning, Demand Planning, or Distribution Planning
- Ability to work autonomously and cooperatively across various departments and geographical locations
- Strong organizational abilities with a proactive approach, adept at handling multiple tasks and prioritizing workload
- Proficiency in SAP/Excel (Pivot Table and VLOOKUP) is a plus
