Product Manager – Mobile App Development
Roll & Responsibilities:
• Develop a strong operations mindset and attitude to maximize availability and performance of the 24x7 digital channels under your purview
• Manage and collaborate with application maintenance and support (AMS) vendors in fulfilling the operational objectives of availability and performance
• Participate in new projects as a subject matter expert to advise on operational considerations and requirements of applications
• Build up deep technical skills in native mobile development and sharpen skills in these areas proactively and continuously
• Collaborate widely across all participating countries, teams, and stakeholders within Group.
• Comply with compliance, governance, and internal audit requirements for the applications under your purview, such as Architecture Review Board reviews, disaster recovery and security scanning
• Manage critical application and cybersecurity incidents along with appointed AMS vendor(s) and infrastructure teams
• Plan, communicate and coordinate maintenance activities, working with vendors who will execute those activities
• Provide timely communications for incidents and regular status updates to relevant tech and business teams
The following requirements are optional but will be advantageous:
• Knowledge of agile project methodology
• Knowledge of New Relic or similar application performance monitoring tools (Hands-on experience will be advantageous)
• Functional experience in any of these areas: hospitality, travel, customer relationship management, case management, chatbots, bookings, payments.
