Job Description
The Crane Operators are responsible for keeping their equipment well maintained and safe, prior to operating the equipment. In addition, the Crane Operator must constantly inspect the crane cables and hooks for signs of wear and tear and ensure that the weight loads and lifting capacities are not exceeded.
Responsibilities
- Follow instructions
- Understand and comply with safety requirements
- Operate mobile crane at various sites as required
- Perform pre-operational inspections, safety checks, test lifts and load chart calculations
- Communicate with assign crew to determine the best placement of the crane for planned lifts
- Participate in rigging procedure when required
- May perform other related duties as required
- Participate in safety / tool box meetings
- Participate in on the job training and any additional training
- Perform daily checks and Maintain operational log sheet
- Perform safe lifting operation at various site as required Report immediate if any defect
Requirements
- Possess Class 5 Singapore driving license and Mobile Crane Operator Certificate
- Valid Certificate of Registration with MOM
- Ability to complete applicable reports and records
- Able to communicate effectively with staff and others involved in the lifting operation
- Sound knowledge of the safety requirement and operating procedures of the mobile cranes
- Physically healthy and fit
- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience in similar capacity
- SOC (Oil / Petrochemical)
