Production Support Engineer is responsible for ensuring the ongoing stability, performance, and security of our production systems. This role involves monitoring system health, troubleshooting issues, applying updates, and providing technical support to end-users.
Responsibilities
- System Monitoring: Proactively monitor system performance, resource utilization, and error logs to identify potential issues.
- Incident Management: Respond to and resolve incidents in a timely manner, following established procedures and escalation paths.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network components.
- Patch Management: Apply security patches, bug fixes, and feature updates to maintain system integrity and compliance.
- Capacity Planning: Assess system capacity and resource requirements to ensure optimal performance and avoid bottlenecks.
- Performance Optimization: Identify and address performance issues, optimizing system configurations and tuning parameters as needed.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation on system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
- Knowledge Base: Contribute to and maintain a knowledge base for troubleshooting and reference.
- Collaboration: Work closely with development, testing, and other teams to identify and resolve issues.

- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with IM8 or equivalent ICT policies is advantageous.
