Job Objectives

We are seeking a skilled and experienced application production support to oversee and manage various projects within our prod support team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the project mgmt, particularly with prod support env, and possess excellent org and comm skills. This role will primarily focus on coordinating and managing projects related to the maintenance and enhancement of our prod systems, ensuring timely delivery, stability, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Key point of contact for development team to coordinate / validate on the production readiness, change quality, observability, resilience, and production risk
• Identify and mitigate project risk, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize potential disruptions to production operations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for project-related communications, providing regular updates to stakeholders on project status, milestones, and any changes in scope or requirements.
• Facilitate the resolution of project-related issues and conflicts, working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to find effective solutions
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including project plans, meeting minutes, status reports, and other relevant records.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies within the production support team, implementing best practices to enhance overall project delivery and performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
• Own production operational issues by issuing initial response, data gathering, tracking, and resolution where possible as well as determining escalation protocol based on the nature of the issue
• Ability to direct multiple resources on cross functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex systems issues
• Manage and respond to users on timely manner for reported production issues/clarification

Key Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of hands-on experience in Java, J2EE, JMS, Webservices, Micro Service, Oracle, UNIX, IBM MQ Series, CTRL+M, Splunk
• Proven experience in project management, particularly in a production support environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Hands-on experience in IT Operations/Production support L2/L3.
• Experience in ITIL process and tools like Control-M is a plus.
• Strong analytical & trouble shooting skills required.
• Experience in Disaster Recovery planning and test execution.
• Exhibits problem solving skills and shows flexibility in supporting evolution in process, standards, and strategy.
• Experience working in financial services industry supporting mission critical applications is a big plus.

Job Objectives

As part of Digital bank L3 support team, we are looking for senior developers who have good knowledge in J2EE development.

Key Responsibilities

· As a Level 3 Production Support Developer need to Investigate production incidents for root cause; fix defects raised in production environment and support development for CRs.

· Update Jira, Confluence with change details

· Coordinate with peer developers, Platform team to get solution reviewed, code reviewed

· Coordinate with testing team to ensure defects are addressed on priority.

· Participate in daily defect triage meetings, Code handover sessions and other Agile ceremonies.

· Ensure code merged on regular basis to git.

· Take end-to-end ownership on production defect fixing until released to production.

Interface with the development teams, business teams, Level 2 teams, Shared services teams and other teams to achieve desired results.

Key Requirements

· At least 10 years of JEE development experience

· Hands on technologist with immense interest in trying out new architectures, frameworks, programming languages or concepts.

· Experience in development of Microservices using Spring boot

· Exposure to following:

o Apache Camel integration framework, XML, SOA Architecture, Object Design and Modeling, DevOps (Git, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Sonarcube, etc.), Axway API gateway, Intellij

· Experience with using RDBMS (Oracle / Maria DB / SQL Server) and at least one of NoSQL (Mongo) database.

· Implementation knowledge of design patterns, Transaction handling and Oops concepts

· Experience in developing with testing frameworks such as Junit, Mockito.

· Hands on experience on shell scripts and proficiency in using Linux/bash shell.

· Understanding of Continuous build and Integration methodologies.

· Experience in integrating and using wide variety of open source technologies and cloud services

· Go getter attitude in getting things done with minimal supervision

· Able to work extended hours and over weekends to support Prod releases / investigation of Incidents

• Hands-on knowledge in AMH (Alliance Messaging HUB) to ensure the BAU, addressing production queries, Monitoring, and maintaining the AMH Swift IT prod support, responding to and resolving incidents and service request related to AMH Swift IT systems.
• Manage day to day issues in AMH, including daily health checks of applications and processes, working closely with various stakeholders (Users, Development team, Vendor, Infrastructure team, Operation team and Incident and Management team, etc) to prioritize and resolve reported production incidents.
