Working Hours: 9am to 6pm
There is no shift however if any issues in production, the candidate must take ownership of resolving the issues.
For releases it will be weekend and candidate must be flexible to come to office on weekends to manage change releases. comp off will be given accordingly for the weekend support.
Skills and Experience Required:
- At least 2 years working in an L2 Application Support Environment
Core technical competency required :
- Linux; Unix Shell Scripting
- SQL (MYSQL/MSSQL)
- Java/Web-based (Troubleshooting & debugging skills)
- OpenShift/Docker
Role and Responsibility:
- To provide quality day-to-day L2 Production support for Java/Web-based application.
- To coordinate and support infrastructure maintenance activities.
- To manage implementations of new application releases, hering to the best practices of the release management process.
- To work with various partners such as Peer Application Teams, Infrastructure, Vendors, Security and Change teams, to provide seamless support for the business.
- To manage Production issues by responding in a timely manner in accordance to the Service Level Agreement with the Business.
- To enhance existing support process to maintain/improve service level & quality.
Good to have experience:
- AngularJS
- ActiveMQ
- Elastic Search
- Application Monitoring Tools
- CI/CD (Continuous Integration & Continuous Deployment)
- Python
- Microservices concept
- Experience in application implementation projects in financial institutions would be advantageous
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to perform impact analysis in a structured manner
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Proactive and able to work independently and under pressure
- With a keen interest in providing high service quality and familiar with the demand of a 24x7 support environment
