The team in Singapore is currently looking for a Digital Asset Management Product Owner Consultant with strong functional experience of DAM / MarTech solutions in order to join and support our client activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The DAM Product Owner will advocate best practices as they define governance standards and processes during the initial phase of the DAM setup
- They will be responsible for setting up the data model and owning its taxonomy, metadata schema, and information architecture of the system
- They will ensure assets are categorized correctly within DAM and across related systems
- They will be responsible for establishing asset naming conventions using industry best practices and defining processes for tagging assets to be used in digital formats
- They will develop the strategy for how we source assets from various internal stakeholders and make them easily accessible within our DAM system while keeping manual touch points low.
- This role with seek to improve the existing DAM data model and processes through methods such as audits and collaborating with team members to define and implement solutions
- They will complete various metadata audits to ensure appropriate asset tagging and taxonomy organization, act on findings as necessary, and report audit progress against goals to support team activities
- They will manage day-to-day questions on digital assets, troubleshoot issues, and update DAM metadata as needed
KNOWLEDGE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- 4+ years of experience managing an enterprise content management or digital asset management system for a large client or company
- Understanding of e-commerce data models
- Experience modeling content taxonomies/schema and metadata
- Familiarity with image optimization techniques (web, mobile applications and industry best practices)
- Exceptional communication and writing skills
