- Collaborate with the culinary, operations, and marketing teams to conceptualize, test, and refine new products.
- Conduct ingredient sourcing, recipe formulation, and sensory evaluations to ensure quality and consistency.
- Manage product trials, pilot runs, and documentation for production handovers.
- Stay updated on food industry trends, regulations, and emerging technologies.
- Analyze competitor products and provide recommendations for innovation or improvement.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards during all stages of product development.
- Prepare and maintain detailed reports on project timelines, costs, and outcomes.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Food Science, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
- Proven experience in product development, preferably in the F&B industry.
- Strong knowledge of food ingredients, preparation techniques, and industry trends.
- Creativity and a passion for innovation in food and beverage.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and product development tools.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and standards.
- Bilingual in english and mandarin to liaise with mandarin speaking counterparts
