Ensure safety compliance, risk assessment, and process improvement in daily operations and construction projects, while adhering to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations in the chemical industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the HSE leader in daily operations and construction projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
- Lead risk assessments, HAZOP studies, and the review of operating procedures for modifications and site activities.
- Identify high-risk activities based on HAZOP studies, collaborate with production managers to develop and implement safety improvement plans.
- Work closely with production and logistics teams to enforce safe work procedures and compliance with HSE protocols.
- Review safety observations, prioritize improvements based on risk levels, and ensure follow-ups via the Management of Change (MOC) process.
- Collaborate with project engineers, production teams, and maintenance coordinators to ensure timely execution of safety-related projects.
- Regularly review and update emergency and disaster prevention procedures to align with current operations.
- Lead and drive HSE-related improvement projects and initiatives.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by superiors.
Our Requirements
- Relevant experience in the chemical industry.
- In-depth knowledge of safety legislation and regulations in the chemical sector.
- Diploma or Degree in Engineering, Health, Safety, or Environmental disciplines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with critical thinking abilities.
