Responsibilities:
Leadership and Strategy
- Cast a clear, compelling vision for the role of digital strategies in accelerating a missional organisation and the broader network in Southeast, South and East Asia Christian communities.
- Develop and execute digital marketing and product strategies that supports evangelistic and discipleship efforts.
- Provide strategic leadership for digital movement-building efforts within Singapore and it's regional and global partners, especially throughout the Indigitous network.
- Collaborate with leaders, staff, volunteers and external networks to develop and deploy effective digital tools for Christian ministry growth.
- Bring best in class tooling and strategies from other global non-profits to be operationalized and add value to the organisation’s national strategic plan.
Building and Empowering Teams
- Recruit, develop, and lead a national digital strategies team in Singapore.
- Build out product, engineering, analytics, marketing and social functions through hiring of staff and engagement with vendor partners.
- Mentor and equip emerging digital leaders, practitioners, and volunteers across different evangelistic programmes and through the Indigitous global network.
- Establish frameworks and resources to sustain digital strategies efforts and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
Digital Missions and Innovation
- Oversee the creation of digital products and tools that empower the Christian community to take their next step in mission.
- Monitor emerging digital trends, including AI, and integrate new technologies into missional strategies.
- Mobilize multiplying disciples through digital approaches and networks, with a focus on Student-Led Movements (SLM) especially through digital mission trips and social media marketing campaigns.
- Train churches and partners in the Christian community in effective digital missions approaches.
Fundraising and Resource Development
- Lead efforts to secure funding for digital strategies in Singapore.
- Build and maintain relationships with donors, partners, and stakeholders to ensure financial health.
- Oversee budget management for Cru Singapore’s digital strategies.
Program Development and Execution
- Guide the creation of a refreshed digital transformation roadmap for the organisation.
- Develop infrastructure and resources to sustain digital maturity within Singapore’s ministry efforts.
- Manage vendor contracts, internships, and other administrative aspects related to digital strategies.
- Integrate Cru Singapore's annual #HACK hackathon event with initiatives from the Indigitous global network.
Requirements:
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Business Management/ Communications/ Computer Science/ Engineering/ Technology related fields
- At least 10 years working experience in a related field and non-profit missional organisations
- At least 5 years experience in leading multinational teams, network teams and initiatives
- Experience in successful fundraising for non-profit evangelistic programmes and projects
- Experience with contract negotiation and vendor selections
- Expertise and proficiency in using enterprise level marketing tools, data analytics and product development practices.
- Bible knowledge to help with AI chatbot evangelistic response development
- Alignment with the doctrinal articles of faith and the general rules in the Statement of Faith of our company
As a Christian organisation, employees will be required to attend work meetings and Christian fellowship meetings, which start and end with religious activities such as prayers, words of worship and bible sharings. Non-Christian employees are not required to participate in the religious activities.
