About the team

Responsible for requirement analysis and strategy optimization of Big Language Model, responsible for data quality and model effect, and working with multiple teams such as evaluation and R & D to improve model effect.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with business teams to integrate ByteDance self-developed LLM into new and existing product offerings and services; identify room for improvement of Global Seed LLM from studies of user behaviors and feedback.

2. Collaborate with technical teams to precisely define the data requirements necessary for aligning Large Language Models (LLMs) across global markets.

3. Develop methodologies for data acquisition and production, while also monitoring costs and assessing the effectiveness and efficiency of these processes. Ensure data quality is maintained at high standards and continually enhances processes based on both quantitative and qualitative feedback.

4. Evaluate the impact of data production tools on the effectiveness and quality of data production. Work closely with technical teams to enhance both the quality and effectiveness of these tools.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

1. Solid understanding of alignment and related approaches, such as Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT) and Reinforcement Learning from Human Feedback (RLHF)

2. Minimum of three years of experience as a product manager for algorithm-driven products or features, or as an algorithm engineer

3. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

1. A strong interest in both LLMs and human behavior/experience/wellbeing. Must be an enthusiastic learner. This position is not suitable for individuals who find reading papers and books to be tedious.

2. Collaborative team player who knows how to assertively advocate for their ideas without being overbearing. Skilled in maintaining attention to detail while staying focused on prioritized goals and the bigger picture.

Who we are looking for

The Alternatives Product Manager will be responsible for the development, implementation, enhancement and support of State Street’s Alternatives products, services, delivery channels from conceptual stages through research, development, marketing, training, sales programs, financial metrics, and the entire product life cycle in support of the Alternatives products strategic goals and objectives in APAC. This role reports directly into Global Head of Hedge, APAC Head of Alternative Products Solutioning, SVP and will have a regional reporting into APAC Head of Product Management, SVP.

What you will be responsible for

As APAC Alternatives Product Manager, you will

• Understand the APAC markets, competitive forces and client direction to make related product recommendations that ensure competitive positioning and grow market share, including the opportunity to introduce new adjacent offerings
• Partner with the business to drive revenue and profitable growth
• Own product commercials for Alternative products across the region
• Provide subject matter expertise - strong background in the alternatives space and have a solid understanding of the end to end strategic operating model and technology stack. Ability to develop solutions that can be deployed for complex clients.
• Drive solutions - support and partner with teams across our global organization to define and solution critical deals and to ensure that the relevant subject matter experts are consulted and that critical design assumptions and strategic options are thoroughly explored.
• Represent State Street at industry events, participate in client meetings and provide thought leadership
• Research & Market Analysis – keeping up to date with key competitor intelligence and emerging industry trends
• Drive business development and support sales commercialization activities
• Collaborate on commercial topics with key stakeholder and business partners across functions including legal, risk and compliance.
