Job Scope:
- Coordinate and execute the product runs based on the schedule provided by planners and liaise with the production planner on any change or delay in the production schedule.
- Ensure production processes are being carried out according to company and regulatory requirements
- To ensure operator executing production activities by complying to food safety standard with required product quality
- Monitor and control of inventory ensure balancing of Raw, unitized and packaging materials include SAP data entry.
- Minimize product loss and maximize plant efficiency by collect and compiles production data. (e.g. Yield and losses, Downtime and Production line efficiency)
- Validating staff timesheets, Overtime and transport claims.
- Maintain and verify Production Report and Perform daily visual inspection in the plant.
- Maintain plant safety by providing daily briefing. (e.g. Toolbox meeting & RA briefing)
- Ensure the safe use of equipment and schedule for equipment inspections and training
- To prepare work schedules and assign workers production line tasks provide the best and safe working environment possible
- Root Cause Analysis. To trouble-shoot, identify the problems and provide solutions. Prepare Incident Report and staff Counselling report
- Backup line leader when short of manpower
- Ensures all documentation necessary for regulatory compliance is completed accurately
- Work closely with site management team to optimize production planning with ongoing activities such as maintenance stops, project works, etc
- Assist to resolve employee issues and disputes
- Identify issues to improve efficiency and suggest improvements via SGA.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the operator to meet company goals and continuous improvement.
- Organize and develop workers skills, establish job expectations and evaluate work performance.
Job requirements:
- Min. Diploma in any relevant field
- Min. 2 years relevant experience preferably in manufacturing / food production
