Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production schedule and ensure timely delivery schedule.
• To handle issue that may occurs during delivery operations process.
• To manage & control the daily operation from incoming, outgoing, packing, documentation and until delivery.
• To communicate with relevant parties for the production capacity, demand & delivery schedule.
• To monitor work-in-progress to ensure production team adhere to the committed schedule.
• Regular monitoring on customer satisfaction.
• Communicate with customers on the monthly forecast, urgent orders, materials readiness and shipment plan.
• To handle monthly month-end closing & yearly stock take.
• Work closely with warehouse supervisor to ensure the safety & health of the workers at the workplace.

Requirements:

• Diploma related to Logistics, Warehouse Management, Supply Chain Management.
• 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Familiar with Security Trade Control, Risk Assessment Procedure, GST Import/Export declaration.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 audit will be an added advantage.

The Production Planner is responsible for developing production/supply plans that consider demand, forecast, availability of material, resource, maintenance, and production capacity.

This position is part of the Materials Management team and will be located in Benoi, Singapore.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Coordinate and monitor daily performance, production output, scheduling commitments of the production plan to ensure on time delivery, optimized inventory levels, and equipment utilization and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Operation and Materials teams to drive schedule attainment and to meet the committed output and monthly/quarterly goals. Communicate any challenges, deviations, or abnormalities to cross-functional teams for prompt resolution.
• Monitor material supply and maintain efficient and productive use of raw materials to ensure continuous production.
• Prepares and releases production work packages, monitor and maintain all the dates and resolve issues with cross-functional teams. Utilize SAP for process optimization and inventory accuracy.
• Involve in weekly fulfilment meetings to review OTD, Past Due and Recovery Plans.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering or Science preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment with APICS or ISM certification.
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 with advanced Excel skills.
• Competency in SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP programs.
• Process effective communication, analytical and strong problem-solving skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Good understanding of inbound supply chain, procurement, and warehouse activities.
• Development of production tools and reports.

Job Description

Responsible for the production planning/co-ordination, shop scheduling and dispatching

Support daily material/production planning based on customers’ orders

Plans for production which includes releasing of work orders and ensuring on-time delivery of shipments based on customer requirements

Works closely with master scheduler, manufacturing, purchasing and warehouse/logistics groups to ensure on-time receipt, delivery of materials and finished goods shipments

Monitors and co-ordinates on material shortages, expediting and ensuring material availability to support production plan

Manages spares planning support and ensure timely delivery of spares to distribution centre

Drives spares repair material planning and optimize the materials needed to support the spares replenishment program

Drives and minimize excess and obsolescence inventory

Assists in developing, maintaining and improving existing processes, procedures and key performance metrics

With understanding of MRP logic which related to system workorder and material positioning

Work closely with production to ensure customer request date are met which aligned with cycle time set in the system

Timely review and execute on ECN and ECO changes so that production is not affected.

Willing to take up ad hoc task assigned by supervisor

Develop actions to minimize excess inventory. Work with Inventory Analyst by providing recommendation during quarterly E&ND review. Follow through the action proposed.

Quarterly review of safety stock to ensure an optimal balance of supply vs inventory turns.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Supply Chain Management / Logistics

Minimum 3 years related industry experience in production planning and inventory management

Proficient in MS Excel, Macros, Word, Outlook, and experience in SAP system is highly desirable

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Team player, self-driven and able to work under pressure with a sense of urgency

Knowledge of supply chain and materials flow concepts

Experience in low volume high mix and DFT/pull manufacturing environment is a plus

Experience in developing and improving existing processes and procedures
