Responsibilities:
- Create, track, and report on production schedules to ensure smooth operations.
- Analyze and report production performance using data from material and production control systems.
- Oversee production schedules, address quality, service, and delivery issues, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
- Continuously improve planning and reporting processes for enhanced efficiency.
- Review customer orders and drawings, and take appropriate follow-up actions.
- Plan production sequences and inspection requirements to meet project needs.
- Prepare job sheets and ensure adherence to customer specifications.
- Measure and evaluate productivity, track efficiency, machine utilization, and capability metrics.
- Monitor daily production workload, provide feedback on in-house production hours, and generate regular job status reports for the Operations Manager.
- Estimate job costs based on rough or finished drawings and provide quotes to the internal sales team.
- Coordinate with the sales team to monitor delivery schedules and ensure timely communication
Requirements:
- Certificate or Diploma in Precision Engineering
- Proficient in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
