Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated medical device Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software products that meet regulatory requirements for medical devices. This role requires a good understanding of both software engineering and medical device regulations, ensuring our products are safe, effective, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

· Collaborate with software development team on design, develop, and maintain software applications intended for use as medical devices.

· Collaborate with AI module improvement and validation.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, regulatory, quality, and marketing, implementing product requirements and specifications.

· Ensure software design complies with relevant medical device regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485, HSA guidelines).

· Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure software products meet all necessary regulatory requirements and obtain required certifications and approvals.

· Prepare and maintain documentation required for regulatory submissions and audits.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.

· Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in the medical device industry.

· Experience with regulatory compliance for medical devices

· Familiarity with software validation and verification processes.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

· Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

We are looking for solution-minded Senior/ Product Engineer (Mechanical) to join our team located in Singapore.

Medulla Pro offers the world’s first real-time needle ultrasound-guided device that is accurate, easy to use, and safe. It drastically eliminates the traumatic incidents for the patients and cut down the procedural time significantly

The simple and practical device explores unique ultrasound deflection methodology for real-time, calibrated, accurate needle entry into the lumbar. It enhances the experience of the patient undergoing the procedure and improves the confidence of clinicians administering it.

Medulla Pro is developing the system in partnership with the National Healthcare Group (one of the major health care clusters in Singapore) and Trendlines Labs.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Contribute to the development of the product by optimizing product design, related accessories, and packaging

· Maintain product BOM to latest with revision traceability

· Lead in establishing design specification and development of clinically relevant test methodology that would meet the specifications

· Responsible for the production and assembly of prototypes, tooling and test equipment with suppliers and ensure timely deliverables.

· Liaise and manage subcontractors, planning, implementing, monitoring, and controlling product development processes

· Maintain AutoCAD models, drawings and other required documentation according to ISO 13485 requirements

· Work with external laboratory testing to ensure product meets required medical device standards

· Support in other project and skills related activities

Skills & Requirements

· Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/biomedical engineering, or related technical degree

· Experience in design using CAD software (Solidworks, ProE/Creo, Unigraphics) and technical drawings

· Product development experiences in medical products

· Minimum of 2 years experiences in a manufacturing environment (i.e: Product development/ production/manufacturing)

· Knowledge of in IQPQ, validation, validation processes for medical devices is an advantage

· Knowledge of regulatory processes will be an added advantage

· Knowledge in solving and troubleshoot technical problems. Uses creative and innovative approach in problem solving

· Familiar with plastic molding fabrication process, molding construction and process optimization

· Attention to details and is highly analytical

· Comfortable working independently or as a team and proactive

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in coordinating costumes for dramas, variety programs and all genres of programs. This involves selecting and packing outfits at the wardrobe stores; liaising with outside contractors for the production of garments; and related duties such as the collection, return or purchase of costumes and accessories.
• Responsible for liaising with the artistes on their costume requirements including overseeing the fitting sessions, making alternations and keeping records of the clothes issued.
• Required to go on location filming assignments which may also include overseas filming.

• GCE O'/'N' level, or Cert in dressmaking
• Must be able to sew and perform minor alternation works
• Good color sense
• Able to read and understand Mandarin to understand mandarin scripts.
• Basic computer skills
