The Middle Office Operations Manager will be an integral part of this multi-faceted Investment Office. The business is to advise various investment portfolios and produce bespoke reports. And additionally, conduct research & analysis of various funds and investment ideas. The primary focus is “impact philanthropy” in projects across multiples continents and multiple initiatives in Early Childhood, Health, Education as well the Oceans and Coastal Ecosystems. Responsibilities will be: Perform “shadow accounting” on main fund product Produce bespoke periodical reports for three investment products, (i.e., performance, holdings, hedging, cash-flow, liquidity) Support on reporting for impact investment initiatives Control & reconciliation of NAVs calculated by the fund administrator Trades execution & follow-up actions (Subscription / Redemption, Spot FX, Forward Forex, Fees, Transfers) Point of contact for all legal & operational third parties (Advisor, Custodian, Fund Administrator, Auditor, Legal) Yearly validation of financial statements & audit for the fund entity as well as local (SG) corporate entity Liaise with outsourced accounting firm for the Governance of the corporate entity (Boards, Accounts, Yearly Financial Statements, Audit) Fluency in PPM (Private Placement Memorandum) terms General assistance to the Directors, closely assisting them along with the OM/EA Mgr Conduct of ad-hoc research & analysis, update of qualitative and quantitative information for investment ideas We are looking for a candidate with: Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in a General Accounting firm, Family Office Fund Administrator or Financial Services Investment company or Impact Investment firm Matching the perspective of: Keen to shift to a broader and more hands-on role Seeks to be associated with many different types of investments, on both financial and philanthropic (impact) dimensions Likes to work in a small team Values autonomy, initiative, and teamwork Looking for stability and long-term commitment Wants personal growth with exposure to broader projects & scope Seeks purpose with involvement in impact philanthropy investments Basic Qualifications required: Singaporean ONLY Min. 5 years of experience in either a General Accounting firm, Family Office, Fund Administrator, Financial Services Investment company, or Impact Investment firm University / Polytechnic Graduate (Accounting, Finance) Comfortable to handle complex worksheets and figures with Microsoft Excel (VBA a plus) Good working knowledge of financial & performance reporting and interest in investing Proficient in MS Office and PowerPoint specifically Excellent written and verbal English are mandatory (confident with internal and external communications across all levels) Fluency in basic IT troubleshooting Independent, proactive, inherently curious and eagerness to learn Has a pride in work well done, is highly detail oriented, values consistency, predictability & reliability, exhibits strong analytical skills with structured thinking capabilities Open to constructive criticism, readiness to grow and strive towards excellence Ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously and understands how to prioritize work Compensation will be $100 - $120K Base depending on experience.
