JOB SUMMARY

Snr Manufacturing Engineer (Medical) will be responsible for planning, designing, implementing, and managing; integrated, production and service delivery systems that assure performance, reliability, maintainability, schedule adherence and cost control within the production site. • Monitor and continuously enhance daily quality and efficiency performance in assigned areas. Familiarity with Lean tools, such as Cycle Time, TAKT Time, and LBR, is crucial for assessing waste reduction and overall improvement.

• Participate in new product development by collaborating with R&D, New Product Development, and Quality teams to offer Design for Manufacturability guidance on hardware. A solid understanding of mechanical design is essential.

• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations associated with this position and as directed by supervisor. Comply with all procedures within the company security policy.

1. Coordinate, administration and issuing of engineering documents.

a. Process and issuing of ORF based on the requirement of Parts / Products Manufacturing Specification (PMS) - TERRA.

*Provide Engineering base management analysis such as Failure Mode Evaluation Analysis, FMEA, (Potential Failure Mode Analysis) on all cost factors at the time of prototype stage to Product Production, so as to ensure that new product’s Factory Cost (FC) are competitive in the market.

1. Administration and collaborate Prototype making and controls.

a. Coordinate the Prototype making by supporting on all the Engineering aspect.

b. Provide in sourcing of new parts as per prototype requirement.

c. Execute Supplier / Vendor audits and verification for the decision of selecting suppliers / vendors.

d. Verify material lists, drawings before providing to suppliers / vendors for quotation.

Job Purpose

Knowledge and experience of operating and troubleshooting a range of OB equipment in sound, communication, IP, etc.

Job Scopes: (Before, During & After Project)

Review the operations of the Engineering Department to ensure the quality of broadcast operations meet industry standards.

Remain up-to-date with outdoor broadcast technology and equipment.

Guide the Assistant Engineers to read technical (Auto CAD) engineering drawings and plan for their training where needed.

Ensure procedure for video equipment testing and preparation is in place.

Ensure adequate processes are in place for communication / escalation of technical related problems that arise during a project.

Keep Engineering environment (Warehouse, Engineering Room and desks) clean, functional, safe and presentable.

Ensure compliance of engineering procedures with Health & Safety guidelines.

Supervise and schedule maintenance of specific categories of broadcast equipment to ensure the equipment are fully functional and well maintained (internally and externally clean/dust-free).

Monitor physical and technical quality and appearance of broadcast equipment. Prepare the maintenance & improvement report.

Plan and maintain a list of specific categories of broadcast equipment which require scheduled maintenance.

Requirements:

• Domain Expertise:Bachelor’s or Master degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with specialized knowledge in semiconductor manufacturing processes. Experience in predictive analytics for yield and quality in semiconductor fabs is highly desirable
  
• Technical Skills:Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, with preferred experience in machine learning libraries and statistical modeling. Strong background in data analysis, including the use of big data technologies and cloud platforms
  
• Experience with Semiconductor Manufacturing:At least 3 years of experience working in semiconductor manufacturing, particularly in roles focused on process monitoring, yield improvement, and quality control. Familiarity with Fab, Die probe, and Assembly processes is essential
  
• Analytical and Predictive Modeling Expertise:Proven track record in developing and deploying predictive models for yield analysis and quality assurance. Experience with tools like JMP, Minitab, or similar for statistical process control (SPC) and predictive maintenance is a plus.
