Key Responsibilities:

• Heavy Lifting & Handling of Paperboards:
• - Assist with the lifting, moving, and loading of heavy paperboards to and from production areas.
  - Ensure safe handling and storage of materials to prevent damage.
  - Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize efficiency and safety.
  
• Production Planning Support:
• - Assist in coordinating and scheduling daily production tasks.
  - Collaborate with the production team to ensure materials are available as needed.
  - Help track production progress and report any issues to the supervisor.
  - Assist in adjusting schedules based on machine availability, staff, and material supply.
  
• General Production Assistance:
• - Support operators and machine crews in daily production operations.
  - Ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  - Monitor inventory of raw materials and report shortages or discrepancies.
  
• Safety Compliance:
• - Follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  - Assist in maintaining safety standards on the production floor, including proper use of equipment and protective gear.
  - Immediately report any hazards or safety concerns to the supervisor.
  
• Maintenance & Cleanliness:
• - Help with general maintenance tasks and ensure production equipment is in good working condition.
  - Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the production area.

Ideal candidate for the role:

• Experience: Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred, but not required.
  
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects regularly.
  
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively.
  Basic understanding of production processes is a plus.

Technical

1. Oversee machine performance, conduct daily checks on machine operations, parameters, and product quality.
2. Troubleshoot issues and ensure effective repairs and follow-ups are completed.
3. Conduct machine setups and equipment/process qualifications.
4. Ensure machine efficiency and maintain reject rates within desired limits
5. Ensure timely completion of periodic maintenance, calibrations, and servicing.
6. Liaise with local suppliers for technical purchases and material needs.
7. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvements, and collaborate with production and QA teams to address quality initiatives.
8. Manage production schedules, stock taking, audits, and team collaboration.
9. Ensure adherence to industrial safety standards and cGMP requirements.

Documentation

1. Write reports on product failures, including root cause analysis, and document corrective actions.
2. Develop and maintain SOPs, manuals for machine maintenance, and validation report activities.
