Job Scope

• Assist the Production Manager and Machining Shop Manager in taking charge of all jobs whenever necessary and ensure delegation and coordination on the necessary works.
• Ensure that all budgets and plans are met.
• Assist the Production Manager and Machining Shop Manager to monitor and manage loadings, direct labour hours, overtime, rework, scrap, on time deliveries, downtime, work efficiencies and ensure all measurements are within plans whenever necessary.
• Organize weekly production meeting to provide status update to all relevant departments and iron out related production issues.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Be the owner of Product Quality and work closely with Materials Engineers, Customer Quality Engineers, and Quality Systems Engineers to enable CMC Materials to supply Worry-Free products to our customers.

Qualifications and Experience

• B.S. in Chemical Engineering is required. MS or higher in Chemical Engineering is a plus
• 2+ years of experience in a chemical processing environment is required. In-depth knowledge with chemical engineering unit operations: mixing, sophisticated filtration, material handling and distillation is helpful.
• Experience with PSM is a plus.
• Experience with AutoCAD or SAP is a plus.
