Job Description

The Engineer will be responsible for driving electro-mechanical product development in compliance with ISO 13485 standards across multiple levels, from component to product. The role includes planning and monitoring New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, managing engineering changes, and maintaining documentation, including Design History Files. The position requires close coordination with both internal and external suppliers, adhering to Quality Management System and regulatory standards.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in electro-mechanical systems.
• Technical proficiency in optimizing designs for mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Solid understanding of metal and plastic manufacturing processes for product design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), including GD&T and kinematic calculations.

Assistant Product Development Manager – Skincare Industry

The position is for Global Vantage Innovative Group, a prestige beauty powerhouse that markets and distributes its own proprietary brands (BelleWave™, essencious by BelleWave™, SkinMTX™, and Specifix™ Professional globally) and provides OEM service for clients worldwide.

Job Description:

· Identify key consumer insights and opportunities for innovation.

· Leverage consumer insights to craft and refine new skincare product concepts.

· Bring the innovation concepts to life via product development, collaborating with internal and external R&D functions.

· Lead the whole development process including formulation, packaging design, prototyping and product industrialization

· Work on improvement of existing formulations

· Drive the projects to a timely conclusion.

· Manage pricing and costs of product to ensure profitability.

· Other ad-hoc projects

Requirements:

· Minimum 3 year experience in a Product design or related function in the beauty industry

· Must have product development experience, familiar with NPD process from concept to commercialisation.

· Good project management skill

· Strong communication skills, ability to drive cross-functional collaborations.

· Positive attitude & growth mindset

· Abreast with skincare industry trends for innovation development

· Strong knowledge of ingredients and their benefits

· Bonus if the candidate has done vendor identification and negotiation for RM/PM procurement.
