We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated medical device Product Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software products that meet regulatory requirements for medical devices. This role requires a good understanding of both software engineering and medical device regulations, ensuring our products are safe, effective, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with software development team to design, develop, and maintain software applications intended for use as medical devices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical, regulatory, quality, and marketing to implement product requirements and specifications.
• Ensure software design complies with relevant medical device regulations and standards (e.g., IEC 62304, ISO 13485, HSA guidelines).
• Work closely with regulatory affairs to ensure software products meet all necessary regulatory requirements and obtain required certifications and approvals.
• Prepare and maintain documentation required for regulatory submissions and audits.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in software development, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Experience with regulatory compliance for medical devices.
• Familiarity with software validation and verification processes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Description

The Engineer will be responsible for driving electro-mechanical product development in compliance with ISO 13485 standards across multiple levels, from component to product. The role includes planning and monitoring New Product Introduction (NPI) programs, managing engineering changes, and maintaining documentation, including Design History Files. The position requires close coordination with both internal and external suppliers, adhering to Quality Management System and regulatory standards.

Key Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering with 3+ years in electro-mechanical systems.
• Technical proficiency in optimizing designs for mechanical and electro-mechanical systems.
• Solid understanding of metal and plastic manufacturing processes for product design.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks), including GD&T and kinematic calculations.

Job Description:

· Identify key consumer insights and opportunities for innovation.

· Leverage consumer insights to craft and refine new skincare product concepts.

· Bring the innovation concepts to life via product development, collaborating with internal and external R&D functions.

· Lead the whole development process including formulation, packaging design, prototyping and product industrialization

· Work on improvement of existing formulations

Requirements:
