Primary role:
- Selling the company's products and services at quota levels, and for managing customer relations in the assigned territory or with named accounts
- Maintain relationships with current customer base and identify opportunities for add on sales
- Prospect and develop new accounts
- Identify sales prospects from cold calls and mailings
- Engage in quotation processing and sales follow up
- Keep informed of new products, services, and other general information of interest to customers
- Achieve sales target, profitability & growth
- Prepare timely sales reports
- Provide timely and prompt response to customers' enquiries
- Liaison with suppliers on sales lead, sales inquiries and marketing activities
Secondary role:
- Ensure a clear flow of communication between customers and various departments
- Assisting in coordinating, developing and maintaining a resource library of sales materials, competitive and industry information files
- Facilitate the execution of marketing materials (brochures, files, premiums, etc)
- Help plan and carry out marketing activities e.g. attendance for seminars and product presentations to customers and colleagues
- Participate in developing long and short-range sales and marketing plans
- Participate in trade shows, exhibits, open house, and product demonstrations
Attend off-site and in-house training seminars
- Provide ongoing account management ensuring that excellent customer satisfaction levels are maintained at all times
