Production Supervisor

• Ensure that products are manufactured according to cGMP & HACCP standards
• Liaise with production planner and the Management on any change or delay in production schedule
• Liaise with R&D on any shortage or quality issue regards to the raw material
• Report raw material characteristic to QC of regular intervals. e.g. raw material - foreign particle, colour appearance, texture, odour
• Conduct briefing to Operators / Line Leader regards to production matters or any information that is required by the Management
• Manage Operators / Line Leader on daily basis as and when required
• Assist to cover the line during break times
• Check machinery, consumables on shift basis, and if found out of order, to liaise with reporting Manager.
• Work and coordinate together with Batching Leader
• To key and update production output details in the Navision promptly
• Prepare and submit reports to the Management

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma in Food Science / Electrical or Mechanical engineering
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Good analysis Skills, EQ
• Team player, detail oriented and positive attitude

MMR Research Worldwide specialise in consumer and sensory research and work with large, international brands within the food, beverage & personal/household care sectors. We are currently recruiting for part-time Product Evaluators/Sensory Panellists to join our new expert panel based at Harbourside 1,1 Boon Leat Terrace S119843 #05-01.

We have the following hours available:

AM Panel - working on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday – 9.30am – 12.30pm

Employees start on $14 per hour, rising to $15 per hour after six months.

These roles involve:

• Working individually and within a team to evaluate products within the food, drink and personal care industry
• Products range from food & beverages (including alcohol, meat & individual ingredients) through to personal care & household products (e.g. shampoo, skin care products)
• You will be taught how to generate sensory descriptive vocabulary as a group (relating to the taste, appearance, texture and smell of a product) and then individually evaluate products on these descriptors
• No experience necessary as full training training will be given

Requirements needed for this role:

• Good sensory acuity relating to smell and taste (this will be tested during a screening session)
• You should have the ability to follow detailed instructions
• You should be comfortable completing routine tasks quickly and accurately
• The ability to articulate yourselves in fluent English in front of others
• You must not have any dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian) & be happy to evaluate alcohol products when required
• You must not have any food intolerances/allergies
• You must agree not to wear any perfume and use any strong-smelling hand creams as this could affect your work
