The Product Analyst (PA) role supports all day-to-day running of the trading desk, ensuring a detailed position summary is kept for the traders and for the matrix as a whole (if applicable) and that the traders' exposures are monitored. This may involve the consolidation of data for the trading matrix. 

The PA is also accountable for a broader range of activities on the desk, e.g. risk/ exposure of trades and ensuring exposure is properly documented and calculated in a consistent manner, the monitoring of futures that are near expiry (where applicable), and determining what to hedge (upon checking with traders).

The PA is expected to provide commentary on the daily profitability reports to explain P&L movements - this requires the PA to have a strong understanding of the P&L and other relevant market information related to the matrix. 

The PA provides all management information and decision support to the traders, e.g. creating reports and/or undertaking general trading, market, or other modeling and analysis on behalf of the traders.  In some cases, this may involve other activities such as rolling storage or internal projects such as supporting the setup of a new business and working with the MIS/ IT team.

Team Summary

The AP Risk Solutions team is responsible for leading the strategy, prioritisation, development, delivery and commercialisation of Visa’s product roadmap for all data and risk solutions in the Asia Pacific markets. This includes the definition of regional product strategies, product P&L ownership, product development initiatives and the full co-ordination of these activities across both the Visa Global and in-market stakeholders. The team collaborates with local and global stakeholders to develop the go-to-market and scale for Visa’s risk and authentication solutions, as well as deliver Visa’s risk solutions roadmap. Our aim is to enable Visa clients and partners to drive better customer engagement and outcomes to grow their business. What a Risk Product Analyst does at Visa:

As the Risk Product Analyst at Visa, this role has responsibility for the management of our risk products in Asia Pacific, focusing on Visa Advanced Authorisation (VAA) and Visa Risk Manager (VRM). You will contribute to the strategy, prioritization and deployment of the VAA/VRM solution in Asia Pacific region. You will manage the relationship of our global clients, work with the client and internal stakeholders to jointly drive service excellence and sales targets.

You will collaborate with key stakeholders, including partners and clients in the development of solutions, contributing to solution design, deployment and performance of the service. You will be comfortable with proactively identifying new opportunities for revenue growth and developing creative solutions for complex ecosystem challenges.

This role is based in the Asia Pacific regional hub in Singapore and will work in partnership with our market teams in the delivery of ambitious product delivery and revenue goals.

Specific areas of accountability will include:

1. Serve as the go-to expert on Visa's security solutions, provide guidance and expertise to markets and client-facing teams and support discussions with clients
2. Responsible for managing the product budget, and participate in financial planning and forecasting for the product
3. Lead the charge in promoting the platform's adoption across the Asia Pacific region, identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and demonstrating how the platform can meet those needs
4. Work closely with markets to champion the needs and requirements of the Asia Pacific region and with global teams to ensure these requirements are considered and incorporated in product development and strategy

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. The extent of the Transformation team's involvement in projects depends on the ownership, nature, scale and complexity of each. For some projects the team manages the initiative from inception through to implementation of the solution. Department/Job Overview: The Security Transfers team handles the security asset onboarding process for Private Banking clients. You will be an effective teammate, actively involved in the daily business by supporting timely and efficient settlement of all security transactions across markets that represent new asset inflows into the bank. The process is a crucial one that kick-starts the support of the Wealth Management business. Asset transfers require timely processing while maintaining a high standard of control and accuracy; the team also ensures any queries and coordination required are followed up timely and expertly.   Key Responsibilities: You shall liaise with transfer counterparty to negotiate and agree on transfer details and timeline. You are responsible for processing all instructions in accordance to the trade details and ensure accuracy in the SWIFT instruction sent to custodian. You will follow up transfer cases to ensure smooth street settlement of the transfer. You are to ensure all transfers are processed by EOD accurately. You will maintain and ensure that all trade documentation is properly filed and archived. You have ability to liaise with custodians/counterparties/front office to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
