Expected Duties:

He or she before be able to:

1) To have some knowledge in handling minimum one of the testing equipments such as AAS, ICP (OES), ICP (MS) and fire assay.

2) Carry out research on upcoming projects, improving SOP in chemical testing methods.

3) Provide write up instruction manuals on proper chemical testing and processing procedures including , type of chemicals to be used, mixing times, operating temperatures as future SOP for chemical testing and assaying methods in an analytical approach.

4) Prepare compounds, reagents, and solutions used in laboratory procedures in a safe manner. To prepare new standards of Lab safety rules.

5) Preferred to have some knowledge in electrolysis and electro plating and comfortable in handing chemicals such as potassium cyanide or sodium cyanide.

6) Provide timely and regular technical and assay reports to describe yours methods and findings. To present these findings to customer, engineers, managing directors, directors and other colleagues whenever necessary.

7) To be able to travel occasionally offshore for very short trips on assay witnessing work or related duties

Introduction:

Your Job:

The company has a significant presence in Asia in terms of its reputable market position in developing best-in-class supply chain management capabilities, and takes pride in ensuring optimized regional activities to achieve maximized customer satisfaction.

They are currently on an active look out for a suitable candidate as a Global Supply Chain Excellence Manager, who is the critical point of contact in terms of ensuring smooth and efficient upstream supply chain processes and demand excellence work flow, in line with Asia manufacturing expansion plans and/or footprints.

Reporting to Supply Chain Director, and this position will be focusing on the below:

1. Work with cross functional supply chain teams to drive end to end optimal Supply Chain Process Excellence in order to support business and operations expansion and growth plans
2. Spearhead continuous process improvements across both upstream and downstream Supply Chain initiatives, not limited to Demand/Supply Planning, Manufacturing, Order Fulfilment as well as Warehousing & Distribution activities etc
3. Actively collaborate with Asia and Global sites to ensure optimal demand forecast and supply balance management, including that of managing inventory and safety stock levels within Asia by means of introducing effective replenishment planning processes etc. to ensure on time delivery to retail stores and assigned customers
4. Strategize supply allocation management to deliver cost synergies and related optimization to support Supply Chain Transformation
5. Conceptualize & drive other Supply Chain programmes to streamline or ensure smooth and optimized workflow for manufacturing sites globally etc.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s Degree with at least 8 - 10 years of relevant experience in end-to-end Supply Chain or related International Business Management experiences in a complex Fast Moving Consumer Goods environment
• Proven track record in acquired solution-oriented mind set to deal with complex and matrix organizational framework
• Excellent hands-on experience and knowledge in driving Supply Chain KPIs such as OTIF, lead time, inventory, cost-savings etc
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to relay and/or drive process improvements across a global organization to important stakeholders
• Good understanding of SAP and equivalent ERP system is highly preferred
