Key Responsibilities

• Load and offload machineries from a 35-ton lorry crane
• Operate the lorry crane for lifting activities within job sites
• Collect and deliver machineries to the required destinations
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols
• Perform daily inspection and maintenance of the lorry crane
• Carry out any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor

Job Description

• Position Title: Production Planner / Materials Planner
• Working Location: Serangoon
• Working Hours: 5 days (Monday to Friday, 8.30 AM – 6 PM)

• Material planning based on production requirement
• Plan and manage inventory at the optimal level
• Monitor production schedule to meet on-time delivery

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the safety, quality, and environmental and energy aspects of the production plant, managing and organizing production processes to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Ensure the department meets the standards required for management system certifications such as ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 50001, IATF 16949, etc.
• Prepare and update essential documentation, including Production Work Instructions, forms, Quality and Environmental Impact Assessments, and Risk Assessments.
• Assess training needs annually or as needed to ensure production staff are properly skilled.
• Address any issues promptly that arise from customer feedback, audits, or other stakeholder concerns.
• Review materials and processes regularly to seek improvements.
• Analyze production capacity and maintain detailed process records.
• Track and manage resources to cut costs and reduce waste of materials and energy.
• Step in to handle various tasks as needed to support other departments.
• Take part in interviewing and evaluating the performance of department staff.

• Negotiates with suppliers for better pricing, quantity, delivery terms.
• Comparison of specifications and pricing and counter propose to Engineers for alternative approval.
• Sourcing, evaluate and purchasing of electronics components/mechanical parts from reliable supplier that can meet required specifications.
• Work with QC to resolve suppliers’ quality issues.
• Issue Purchase Orders based on purchase requisition.
• Following up on outstanding backlog and expediting of urgent materials.
• Work with Finance/Store to resolve DO/Invoice discrepancy.
• Involve with yearly audit ISO9001 & 14001.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma with 2 years of purchasing experience in electronics manufacturing industry (OEM).
• Familiar with using Sum Product/Conditional formatting/Sort/Filter/vlookup/Pivot and formulas.
• Experience in machining/metal stamping parts will be added advantage.
• 5 day work.
