Summary of Job Contents:
The Automation Sales Engineer is responsible for providing ongoing support to high-value clients and identifying new revenue opportunities with major accounts. This role involves working closely with the ELA Sales Manager to develop customer roadmaps, actively negotiating new business opportunities, managing day-to-day customer activities, and resolving customer issues.
- Position: Automation Sales Engineer
- Function Area: Sales
- Industry Segment: Electronics & Assembly, Factory Automation - Electronics, Electrical Automation
- Working Hours: 5 Days, Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
- Location: Pioneer, Singapore
- Monthly Base Salary: S$4,000 - S$4,500
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage individual customer roadmaps and action items in collaboration with the ELA Sales Manager.
- Actively identify, negotiate, and maximize new business opportunities.
- Oversee day-to-day activities for key customers, including providing quotations, processing orders, and resolving complex issues.
- Conduct regular visits to targeted customers to build rapport and address inquiries, as well as respond to product complaints and suggestions.
- Provide technical consultation, sharing in-depth knowledge and experience with customers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and customer service, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Entry Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of related experience, preferably in Automation or Semiconductor (Semicon) environments.
- Strong background in sales support functions and handling customer complaints.
- Proficiency in identifying customer needs and recommending appropriate automation solutions.
- Experience in inside sales activities.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Benefits:
- Yearly Performance Bonus: 1 to 2 months.
- Sales Incentive Scheme: Up to 4 months per annum, paid quarterly.
