Job Description
• Assist with daily laboratory tasks, including sample preparation (e.g., hazardous waste) and running analyses.
• Perform routine maintenance of lab equipment to ensure proper functionality.
• Assist with laboratory record-keeping, data entry, and reporting results.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment.
• Conduct regular chemical inventory checks.
• Manage laboratory waste according to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with other departments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory regulations and standards.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
• To hold safety responsible for the role and report any unsafe situation
Job Requirement
• Polytechnic/ Technical Diploma in Chemistry
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to learn and adapt new technologies to stay relevant.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1-2 years of knowledge of laboratory best practices
• Strong attention to detail.
• Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Analytical and numerical skills: ability to perform basic math calculations, understand different measurement units, and use concepts like percentages and ratio
• Time management skills: able to prioritize and organize work to be more efficient.
• Willing to work in the Tuas area.
