Responsibilities:
- Manage key equipment and systems including architectural and building maintenance, clean room maintenance, fire protection, security systems, painting, docks, grounds, pest control, staff amenities, janitorial services, cGMP cleaning and sanitization, gowning services, and more.
- Partner with vendors to establish Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), perform audits for vendor service contracts, and ensure outsourced services meet established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Establish and operate a customer service feedback mechanism to address and resolve concerns promptly.
- Attend SQDIP meetings or production coordination meetings as required.
- Maintain facilities work orders related to routine and non-routine building maintenance.
- Ensure high standards of cleanliness in various zones to comply with Quality Assurance (QA) requirements.
- Coordinate and manage pest control service programs, closely following up on pest incidents and investigations.
- Schedule and coordinate operations, maintenance, and administrative staff for effective facilities program implementation and enforcement.
- Supervise and monitor contractor performance according to established KPIs.
- Provide support in preparing audit and war rooms, ensuring facility readiness for audits.
- Manage Non-Conformance (NC) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) related to facility services.
- Provide training as required and maintain records to satisfy Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and GxP requirements.
- Collaborate with Environmental Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHSS) teams to develop and manage sustainability efforts.
- Manage facility improvement projects and support cost-saving initiatives related to facilities.
- Oversee all facilities soft services, including couriers, stationery, meeting rooms, café, pantry, bus services, and café operations.
- Actively participate in the site emergency response team and EHS training.
- Lead and manage site activities, including festive celebrations, to enhance the workplace environment.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management; OR
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management with 2 years of experience in engineering, operations, or facilities management in a GMP environment; OR
- Associate’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management with 6 years of experience in engineering, operations, or facilities management in a GMP environment; OR
- High school diploma/GED with 8 years of experience in engineering, operations, or facilities management in a GMP environment.
- Familiarity with documentation in highly regulated environments.
- Knowledge of NC/CAPA/Change Control processes, engineering documentation, and records management.
- Experience in managing contractors and vendors.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high computer literacy.
- Customer-focused with strong service-oriented personality.
