Facilities & Operations Management
- Lead a team to manage all aspects of daily building maintenance (M&E Services)/ upgrading/repairs, support kitchen operations, manage tenancy agreements, security, housekeeping and store operations; and ensure compliance to relevant statutory requirements and good support to various internal departments
- Perform the account manager role of the hospital to address any facilities and/or operations-related queries and needs from patients, relatives, staff, stakeholders and various regulatory authorities
- Supervise a team of contracted staff from the appointed vendors and ensure that the vendors fulfill the service level requirement
- Develop the necessary SOPs and Business Continuity Plans
- Supervise own and contracted staff during the conduct of any related exercises and trainings to ensure their proficiency
- Responsible for project costing, budgeting and maintenance of approved budget
- Work with Procurement Department to prepare and manage related tenders and contracts with appointed vendors
Project Management
- Assist in project planning and coordination work for hospital space planning, expansion, facilities and operations-related improvements
Administration
- Assist but not only limited to the undermentioned work areas: Risks Management; and Work Place Safety Assessment
- Present papers to the Board and Management and address any matters arising (if required)
Requirements:
- Possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
- Fire Safety Manager, Safety Manager or Project Manager Certification of Greenmark Manager will be an added advantage
- At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position
- Possess strong analytical and organizational skills with the ability to work independently and willing to go extra mile to reach challenging goals within very tight timelines
- Good communication skills in both verbal and written
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel and Powerpoint) is a must
- Ability to work under pressure in a complex environment
