Roles and Responsibilities
- Maximise network performance by monitoring performance, troubleshooting network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades and collaborating with network architects on network optimisation.
- Conduct regular inspections and monitors the performance of the electrical and mechanical equipment supporting the facility critical operations.
- Ensure all preventive and corrective maintenance are done according to the approved MOS and RA and manage appointed vendor.
- The maintenance records are to be fully filled, reviewed and hardcopies signed off.
- Ensure proper documentation of all maintenance records for preventive and corrective maintenance, including service reports and checklists from vendors.
- Ensure all documents are readily available for audit.
- Raise change request and submit to Customer Service Team for submission in Customer system.
- Prepare and update the list of licenses and its expiry date.
- Ensure timely renewal of all statutory and regulatory licenses.
- Provide in-depth hands-on troubleshooting of faulty system.
- Schedule monthly vendor evaluation and support the stakeholders in Customer in the review of vendors.
- Ensure critical spare parts are stocked up and accountable for.
- Inform the stakeholders in Customer if restocking is required.
Qualification Requirements
- Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with at least five (5) years of post-graduation working experience or diploma in electrical engineering or equivalent with at least ten (10) years of post-graduation working experience.
Preferred Skills
- Must be experience in managing data centre, semiconductor, oil and gas or other critical facilities.
- Must be experience in handling HT/LT electrical system and equipment like UPS, DRUPS, HT/LT switchboard, control & monitoring system and power quality monitoring system.
- Have knowledge and experience in handling mechanical and fire protection system like CRAU, FCU, AHU, chillers, gas suppression system, pre-action and wet sprinkler /VESDA will be a plus point.
- Conversant in data centre setup and have a good understanding on the control & monitoring systems, mechanical and electrical engineering systems.
- Able to draw, read and understand M&E drawings.
- Good communication and people management skills.
