Our client is currently hiring Facilities Supervisor from the Biomedical Manufacuturing Industry. The successful incumbent is responsible for managing the Company Building, Facility, Estate and Utility
equipment and leads a team of technicians to manage the entire building and facility equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Works closely with the Facility Manager pertaining to the well keeping of the Company building and facility equipment.
- Manages the daily facility and building maintenance work to meet the Company’s objectives
- Evaluates the facility and building condition, and make proposals to immediate superior to drive improvement and take preventive maintenance measure to ensure building and facility equipment is in good working condition
- Ensure compliance to Regulatory, Safety and Standards (GMP, ISO)
- Carry out scheduled maintenance of building and facility equipment
- Ensure all facility equipment is in good working condition
- Lead, supervise and motivate the team of technicians
- Ensure expenses are within the budget and ensure proper project management
- Liaise with contractors and PE to ensure proper maintenance work is carried out
- Liaise with Pest Control and Grass Cutting Contractors timely
- Ensure the documents and reports are completed and submitted in a timely manner
- Develop training program to build up the team capability
- Ensure and comply to Safe work practice at all time
- Drive continuous improvement program
- Carry out any other work-related job as assigned by the Management
- Any ad hoc duties assigned
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in engineering with minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in facility management.
- Must have strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skill, with good hands-on technical knowledge
- Able to commence with short notice
Other Information
Salary: $3,500
Working Hours: Rotating Shift; Monday to Friday, 7:45am - 4:45pm/ Tuesday to Saturday, 7:45am - 4:45pm
Location: Tuas
