Responsibilities:
Responsible for supporting the operation and maintenance of the M&E Services (e.g power, cooling, space and asset inventory) within the Data Center in a 24/7 mission critical environment for two sites.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams and responsible for the performance of the team and delivery of Service Level Agreement
- Oversee the day-to-day operation and manage a team of engineers and to be on standby with 24/7 on-call emergency response and availability.
- Maintaining M&E Services infrastructure and coordinating with vendors.
- Manage and plan for MEP preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance.
- Manage and plan for annual shutdown.
- Manage expenses and P&L.
- Prepare monthly reports and conducts meetings
- Manage contractors and projects.
- Manage client enquiries and requests.
- To obtain and maintain management system certifications, including but not limited ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems, ISO 14001 Environmental Management Systems, ISO 27001 Information Security Management, ISO 45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems and bizSAFE Star certification within 2 years from Commencement Date.
- To review and approve maintenance master plan for planned preventive maintenance, cyclical parts replacement, major maintenance and overhaul works.
- To act as the 2nd level of escalation for ensuring that Employer's call for attendance to Incident is answered within the duration stipulated.
- To review, approve and submit Incident report with root cause analysis as stipulated under Schedule 8 within the duration stipulated.
- To review the quality of documentation submitted for raising Request For Change.
- To review, approve and submit quotations for corrective maintenance, Additions & Alterations and ad-hoc works as requested.
- To review turnaround time and quality of corrective maintenance, Additions & Alterations and ad-hoc works as requested.
- Perform any other adhoc duties.
Requirements:
- Minimum 8 years data center facilities experience.
- Operational experience with critical facility equipment/ system that includes but not limited to transformers, generators, DRUPS, UPS, PDU, Chiller System, CRAH and Fire System.
- Good customer management and communication skills.
- Responsible and accountable for profit and loss of the sites.
- Work independently with minimum of supervision.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; must communicate effectively and in a professional manner.
- Plans and tracks preventive maintenance plan, cyclical maintenance plan and other related events closely.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to maintain all facility related documentation. Detailed and careful in submissions and reporting.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
