What You Will Do

• To provide support to FMS engineer on Facility plant operations including first line troubleshooting on all Facilities system.
• To carry out Facilities Plant logging and escalate the issues to FMS engineer if any abnormalities found.
• To coordinate on contractors activity on site through permit-to-work system and ensure that all contractors follow GlobalFoundries work procedures.
• To work as an ERT member and ensure that Plant Emergency Response Procedures are followed all the time.
• One point contact / Liaison with Fab Manufacturing Engineers for any communication with them on any Facilities System issue.
• To escalate the Fab impact incidents to Facility Manager and capture the details in Facility Incident report System.
• To coordinate on contractors’ activity on site through permit-to-work system and brief them about the precautions to be taken during the activity.
• To conduct OJT for new hire /Acting on Campus leader duty

What You Will Need

• Diploma / Degree course (Mechanical / Electrical & Controls / Chemical Engineering
• At least 2 years of work experience on M & E or UPW system
• Good expereince in handling facilities
• Adept in working with vendors

Your Job:

• Calculate, Monitor as well as Maintain cooling load and power savings
• Oversee the functioning of Chillers and Cooling towers
• Manage a team of vendors for the up-and-coming projects and ensure the safety and schedule are met
• Liaise with Facilities, EHS and modules for RA review/ Safety review/ Design Approval/ Acceptance
• Basic level of Automation

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Proven experience of around 5 years in handling Mechanical operations from a facilities perspective
• Good Experience in working with Facilities with a focus on Chillers / Cooling towers
• Adept in cooling load and power saving calculation
• Ability to work with vendors to meet the stipiulated timelines / schedules
• Automation experience is a big plus

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be part of the Global Parts Solution Singapore Team, job duties will include, but not limited to:

• Performing problem diagnostics and troubleshooting for electronics, RF comments or chillers such as PCB, power supply, controller or RF generators
• To repair the faulty units and with a functional test.
• Participating in CIP programs to improve the quality of repairs, such as improvements of repair success rate, parts life-time extension, and developing robust repair and testing capabilities.
• Performing swing shift duties to support the operation of the Global Parts Solution
• Involvement in global meetings and cross training programs which help to develop and unify the skillset and experiences by sharing and documentations.
• Involvement in the transformation to enable a new generation parts repair center through automation and digitalization.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / Mechanical / Mechatronics Engineering.
• 1-2 years' working experience in repair workshop.
• Able to do component-level troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
• Troubleshooting and repairing malfunctioning equipment such as Power supply / controller / PCB / monitor/ RF Gen / RF matches and Chiller.
• Knowledge of repair of RF gen / Matches / Chiller will add an advantage
• Good soldering skill will add an advantage.
• Experience in repairing job will add an advantage.
• Able to perform swing shift work.
• Team Player and able to work independently.
• Good ownership and accountability.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Flexible and able to support overtime.
• Self motivated, meticulous, and disciplined.
