Responsibilities and Duties:
- Oversee daily sales operations for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, such as CMP tools, within the assigned sales territory to ensure achievement of sales targets set by the management team.
- Guide and manage the sales representatives’ activities to maximize market opportunities and maintain competitiveness.
- Regularly prepare forecasts and sales targets, monitoring team performance against these benchmarks. Provide strategic direction to help the team meet or exceed these goals.
- Lead new marketing initiatives and collaborate with EC to implement promotional efforts for semiconductor manufacturing equipment products.
- Design, develop, and execute localized sales and marketing programs tailored to the needs of the sales territory.
- Maintain clear communication with the sales team to understand customer needs and provide sales support as required.
- Collaborate with EC to establish appropriate industry pricing levels.
- Utilize the SAP ERP system to track and manage the progress of quotations, purchase orders, deliveries, and customer invoicing.
- Partner with EC to identify and secure new accounts and contracts, leveraging the local team to support growth in new product offerings.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure trust and satisfaction.
- Perform any additional responsibilities as assigned by the management team.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Experience:
- A minimum of 5 years of sales experience, preferably within the semiconductor industry and in a Japanese company setting.
Knowledge:
- Familiarity with commercial and shipping documents, including Incoterms.
- Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing equipment, such as CMP tools.
Skills:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, complemented by a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability in customer service, negotiation, and delivering impactful presentations.
- Capability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel internationally for training and visits to customer locations across the region as needed.
- Candidates who own a vehicle will receive a vehicle allowance.
