Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible to lead and manage team to ensure all Mechanical and E&I maintenance activities are carried out in accordance with the Company’s HSEQ Standards, statutory requirements, Company Maintenance & Management System and best industry maintenance practices.
- Ensure that industry best practices and relevant maintenance strategies are applied to the activities for maintenance and modifications in the plant so as to achieve reliability and availability of plant equipment of the highest level.
- Responsible for the management of annual Project and Maintenance activities and budgets (both Mechanical and E&I) throughout fiscal year to achieve department goals.
- Ensuring that there are adequate procedures and systems put in place for maintenance activities conducted within the process plant
- Ensure safety of all plant equipment is maintained to avoid lost time accidents, with immediate response and thorough investigations and corrective actions for all hazardous occurrences and accidents.
- Oversee all facilities planning and functions including the maintenance, modification control of equipment, space allocation, move and construction.
- Works with counterparts in parent and subsidiary companies on technology transfers to raise maintenance performance standards.
- Planning and managing the shutdown maintenance.
- Approval of all work requests for equipment maintenance and modifications related to improvements and safety of process and plant, requisition for new equipment and maintenance spares.
- Approval of the daily maintenance activities and modifications in the plant, Contractors’ daily timesheets.
- Approval of grade change maintenance activities, in consultation with production department
- Assessment and review of in-house contractors’ performance and the contract.
- Undertakes special assignments or projects as directed by the Plant Manager.
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering or related discipline
- Min 7 years of experiences in the chemical industry dealing with maintenance of mechanical rotating equipment and static facilities.
- Min 3 years of experience in managing a maintenance team.
- Experiences as E&I Process/Maintenance Engineer at chemical plant or manufacturing facility.
- Possess knowledge on high voltage power supply/MCC, control panel and/or DCS design and system to manage establishment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work with different level of stakeholders in the company.
