Key Task or Responsibilities:

The Day Technician is responsible for Heat Treatment Daily Operations, support shift team on Grade

Change Maintenance activities and Day shift Operations.

• In charge of day-to-day operation for Heat treatment unit to ensure quality, safety and

production capacity are met according to production plan.

• Lead and support GCM transition activities for HT facility, and main operation in ensuring

cleaning activities are done efficiently up to company operation standard before handing over

to maintenance.

• Ensure any operational issues are communicated and followed by the maintenance team by

working closely with maintenance contractor and coordinator.

• Support the shift team in multiple aspects of operation consisting of off-spec PVA blending,

chemical loading/unloading, chemical preparation and GCM cleaning.

• On all activities, report to shift supervisor and day supervisor to ensure daily operation are

done safely and according to the requirement.

• Any other duties as assigned.

Our Requirements:

• NITEC or Diploma in Chemical Process Technology

• At least 3 years’ working experience as Process Technician in a chemical industry

Key Task or Responsibilities:

To coordinate Maintenance Activities between Production and Technical department. Support

GCM/SDM MA & MO activities. Support work permit and authorization activities.

• Participate in Daily operation and maintenance meetings to support both operation and

maintenance activities by keeping status updated with plan.

• Coordinates all maintenance activities including safe permit issuance, lockout-tagout

preparation, GSAP approval, and supporting relevant parties to effectively complete the

maintenance works as needed.

• Actively prepare equipment from maintenance phase to commissioning of equipment to ensure

the completed jobs function well.

• Supports Capital Project/MOC activities in view of blanking, isolation, LOTO and flushing plans

are followed to ensure safe handling.

• Work closely with the Maintenance engineers on Transition and Turn Around activities from

planning stage to commissioning stage.

• Prepare markup PIDs covering all the GCM activities to be completed during the transition

period for safe and timely start-up.

• Coordinate with shift team supervisors to ensure maintenance jobs such as cleaning, washing

and technical or in-house contractors follow up jobs are completed before handing over to

production.

• Support work permitting and work authorization activities.

• To perform any other duties or assignments as assigned by superiors.

Our Requirements:

• Related working experience in the chemical industry.

• Diploma/Degree in relevant field.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintenance planning and coordination.

• Good communication and teamwork.

• Independent and able to work effectively with individuals at all levels of organization.
