RESPONSIBILITIES

As one of the pioneers in broadband development in Singapore, 1-Net currently manages telco-class carrier-neutral Internet Data Centres, along with providing domestic and international connectivity, managed services and media delivery services. 1-Net offers superior stability, secure delivery and service experience through its services. Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and daily operations of the DC facilities with the objective of achieving uninterrupted availability at all times and to ensure the fulfillment of our service commitment to customers.
• Support service delivery to ensure contracted service level agreements and key performance indicators are met or exceeded.
• Perform routine facilities activities including inventory control. Critical systems checks and functional testing. Able to respond and take action in response to facilities crisis management activities including: power outages, fire alarms, HVAC outages. Analyze data and identify trends with facility issues to determine root cause and take appropriate action.
• Respond to BMS/EMS alerts, investigate and feedback on any outstanding issues or events and respond to emergency situations and be on standby duty as required.
• Provide technical support to all aspects of data center operations including the operation, maintenance and repair of all mission critical equipment and systems supporting a 24x7 data center operation to achieve 100% uptime and 100% compliance with all customer SLAs.
• Assist in all site construction activities and installations, in coordination with external contractors to ensure system design, installation and testing adhere to operational standards. Witness testing of all equipment during commissioning and validate sequence of operations and receipt of all operational documentation.
• Support for customer installations, in coordination with the design & construction as well as operations requirements to coordinate customer move-in and turn-on, and other service request & deliveries.
• Maintain compliance with local workplace safety & health (WHS) standards and local electrical and building codes.
• Ensure adherence to all standard operating procedures (SOP), method of procedures (MOP), and emergency response procedures (ERP) established for the critical environments, as well as the formal change control process.
• Participate in the scheduling, coordination and completion all significant planned and emergency maintenance events for the facility and ensure these activities are executed in a controlled and proven method to ensure the reliability of the critical loads supported by these systems.
• Support various accreditation, certification and compliance initiatives such as BCA-IDA Green Mark DC/QMS/ISMS/BCMS/PCIDSS/OSPAR, etc as may be required.

• ITE/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification
• No experience required as training will be provided
• Must be willing to learn

• Able to comprehend, analyse and interpret complex project documents, including AutoCAD, Visio and PDF documents

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

The main role of this position is to conduct periodic preventive maintenance to minimize the occurrence of faults and malfunctions as well as breakdown maintenance to equipment and facilities

- Daily inspection of physical facilities and equipment to ensure

- Assists to upkeep a list of spare parts

- Puts up requisition to replace faulty parts on facilities

- Trouble-shoots electrical/ technical problems and able to perform electrical repair and maintenance as required

- Work with and maintain relationships with contracted vendors

- Ensures contractor/vendor adhere to KTS’s safety rule and policy.

- Performs administrative tasks as assigned such as submission of incidence reports, updating of facilities records, etc.

- Respond to emergency calls for maintenance and repairs

- Any other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements:

- Minimum Nitec or equivalent certificate in Building, Facilities Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

- Minimum 1 or 2 years of relevant working experience in a factory environment/Electrical work

- Able to work independently without supervision

- Demonstrated problem solving skill

- Good interpersonal skills, strong technical background with analytical mind

- Proficient in MS Office

COMPANY DESCRIPTION

We provide Underground Utilities Infrastructure construction and maintenance, sewer pipeline rehabilitation, road and airfield construction and maintenance as well as asphalt pre-mix production and construction waste recycling.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitors and inspects the quality of materials (aggregates, asphalt premix).
• Involves monitoring performance and quality of personnel, processes, and methods on an ongoing basis to ensure compliance with laboratory procedure.
• Required to ensure that all workers receive required training and that they understand the rules of laboratory work and responsibilities.
• Assigns tasks and makes arrangements for the workers daily tasks.
• Perform check QC test reports for projects teams.
• Provide assistance to managers in resolving any problems related to their work obligations.
• Keep track of training records for new or current workers and training needs are met.
• Assist testing in laboratory research and development.
• Assist and perform longitudinal road profile measurement (International Roughness Index) using laser profiler.
• Work with the QC site team to arrange for the necessary samples and other QC-related tasks.
• Responsible on any other duties like raising PR (consumables/equipment).

• Minimum ITE level or related field

Job Description

• Assist departmental manager in spare sourcing and requisition, coordinate daily staff activities, and compile monthly expenses report.
• Carry out machines and plant maintenance, including machines (mechanical) troubleshooting and repair, building repair maintenance and renovation work.
• Carry out machine repair and maintenance, fabrication and installation in the production area.
• Work and coordinate with third party contractors on facilities and equipment repairs.
• Maintenance of Air-Con, Electrical and Lighting of the premises.
• Provide feedback to management on any improvement for the maintenance task/ list assigned.
• Ad-hoc duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience as a supervisor in maintaining foods processing production line, machineries, utilities or other industries.
• Knowledge and experience working on PLC control system, motor speed controller and position controller, temperature controller, AC & DC control systems, pneumatic system, steam line components, air compressor, boiler, electrical distribution system, general building repair work.
• Familiar and can work independently on preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance works on equipment such as conveyor, gearbox, pneumatic and hydraulic system, 3 phase motor starter and drives, electro-mechanical system, basic electrical and electronic control, temperature controller, simple building & M&E repair works.
• Minimum Diploma/ Higher NITEC cert in Mechanical/Mechantronic/Electrcial/Electronic Engineering or related, or similar trade qualification from Asean countries.
