Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs, safety concerns, and operational issues.
- Develop & implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the reliability and longevity of building systems & equipment.
- Coordinate & supervise maintenance activities, including repairs, installations and renovations.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors for facility-related services.
- Implement energy-saving initiative and sustainable practices to enhance facility efficiency.
- Oversee compliance with health & safety regulations, ensuring as secure work environments for all occupants.
- Plan & execute emergency responses procedures, including evacuation plans and disaster recovery.
- Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance activities, expenses, and equipment performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support space planning, office relocations, and facility expansions.
- Monitor and manage budgets related to facilities maintenance and improvement projects.
- To perform other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Facilities Management Department.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in facilities management, preferably in a corporate or industry setting.
- Proven experience of minimum 3-year in similar field or related industry.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire protection systems.
- Familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Good project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and provide effective solutions.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, vendors ,and contractors.
- Understanding of sustainability practices and green building concepts is a plus.
- Responsible for any other ad hoc duties assigned.
- Important to have a can-do attitude, willingness to self-learn and guide others.
