Laser Cleaning Technician (Part-Time)

We are looking for a laser cleaning technician to join our factory and be a key member of operations. You will be responsible for operating, troubleshooting, basic repairing, and maintaining the laser cleaning equipment(under manufacturer guidance), as well as training and supervising future new operators. You will also ensure the compliance with the environmental and safety regulations, and the quality standards.

To be successful as a laser cleaning technician, you should have a good understanding of English and a positive attitude to learn. Having a certificate in laser technology, engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience in laser cleaning or a similar industry is a plus but not mandatory. You should also have a valid N3 license issued by the National Environment Agency (NEA), or be able to obtain one within three months of employment. You should be able to learn advanced knowledge of laser cleaning principles, techniques, and equipment, as well as excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You should also be able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

• Coordinate with subcontractors, QPD, QPS & LTA
• Manage the schedule of all Instrumentation item as per construction program

Job requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering/Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 years of working experience in Construction Design Field
• Experience in viaducts / infrastructure preferred
• Previous experience in LTA project is required
• Technical expertise and knowledge in Instrumentation & geotechnical field.

1. Responsible for installing and maintaining electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in residential, commercial, or industrial settings. Ensures all installations meet local and national electrical codes.

2. Focuses on diagnosing and repairing electrical problems in equipment and systems. Utilizes various testing devices to identify issues and implement effective repair solutions.

3. Ensures all electrical work complies with safety regulations and standards.

4. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

- To carry out general maintenance, troushooting and repairs of machines at customers' site

- To perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks

- Inspecting machines to identify any defects or potential issues

- Has relevant experience working in a Engineering environment

- Able to trouble shoot electrical will be an advantage

- Prefer candidate with own motorcycle but not compuslory

- Training will be provided

JOB Description :

• Experience working with SP3D software.
• Experience to generate all instrumentation design deliverables like wiring diagrams, cable schedules, Hook up drawings, MTOs, Layouts etc.
• Must be able to be interface and work with other disciplines for the finalization of cable layouts and other instrument design deliverables.
• Knowledge and experience of plant layouts and model review meetings.
• Experience and knowledge to effectively communicate issues and ideas effectively.
• Good knowledge of Instrumentation design & able to work with minimal supervision.
• Co-ordination with other disciplines and other Instrumentation designers.
• Good understanding on Offshore Standards.

Experience : 6-8 years experience

Qualification : Diploma/ Bachelor Degree in any Engineering Discipline

Location : Singapore

Availability : Able to start work Immediately or with short notice
