The Senior Assistant Manager, Facilities Development will serve as an internal infrastructure Project Manager to plan and deliver projects for NUHS.

Job Responsibilities:

• Engage users to carry out feasibility studies for hospital rejuvenation projects
• Lead the design development of projects
• Procurement of consultancy and construction packages for the implementation of the projects
• Review and approve project schedules, method statements, material submission and Permit to work during construction stage
• Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services in accordance with their contract terms.
• Develop project governance policies and processes
• Develop technical standards for cluster infra projects
• Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by your reporting office

Job Requirements:

• Masters in Architectural with at least 2 years of relevant experience or Bachelor Degree in Architectural / Architectural Technology or Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design, Quantity Surveying or Estate with minimum 2-4 years’ relevant experience in healthcare infrastructure or project management/design consultancy in the built environment sector preferably in the public sector
• Extensive experience in designing of hospitality facilities that involve extensive workflow and stringent environmental requirements is advantageous
• Knowledge in Building Regulations, Environmental Health Safety and Workplace Safety Health requirements pertaining to infrastructure facilities development.
• Team player with good project management, supervisory, interpersonal and communication skills.
• An independent team player who is proactive, adaptable and works well under pressure.
• Proficient in AutoCAD drafting. Knowledge in 3D Sketchup software is advantageous.
• Able to multi-task and perform in a dynamic working environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The Manager / Senior Manager, Facilities Development will lead a team of Project Managers in the planning and implementation of Facilities Development projects in Kent Ridge Campus and set up project management systems and tools

Job Responsibilities:

• Develop project governance policies and processes to enable consistency in the delivery of infrastructure projects in the cluster.
• Develop technical standards for cluster infra projects and ensure standardisation and alignment with overall hospital’s infrastructure and design in the projects.
• Engage users to carry out feasibility studies for hospital rejuvenation projects
• Lead the design development of projects
• Procurement of consultancy and construction packages for the implementation of the projects
• Review and approve project schedules, method statements, material submission and Permit to work during construction stage
• Oversee and manage consultants and contractors in the delivery of their services in accordance with their contract terms
• Adhoc duties and projects in support of CIFO’s mission Lead and execute Special Projects or tasks as directed by RO

Job Requirements:

• Degree in Architecture, Building, Engineering, Project Management or equivalent
• At least 6 -12 years of relevant experience with proven track record in public sector or healthcare infrastructure projects
• At least 3 - 5 years of leadership experience
• High level of technical competency
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage ambiguities in the course of work
• Team player and able to collaborate with stakeholders of various functions
• Ability to multi-task
