Responsibilities:

• Install and configure equipment on data center racks (servers, switches, routers, firewalls).
• Replace components in existing hardware (mainboards, CPUs, RAM, HDDs/SSDs, network modules, transceivers, cables).
• Conduct patching of fiber optics and Ethernet cables, ensuring accurate connections.
• Maintain tidy cable management for efficiency.
• Prepare servers for operation (OS installation, network/firewall config, application installation).
• Perform operational and maintenance tasks (cable tests, equipment power cycling, console interface setup for remote access).
• Troubleshoot issues (ping/traceroute, hardware tests, generate logs for vendor escalation).
• Manage inventory and ensure proper asset tracking.
• Enforce data center processes, access control, and compliance with rules and regulations.
• Escort external vendors to ensure premises security.

Requirements:

• Min Nitec in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines
• Candidate with no experience is welcome to apply, training will be provided
• Proficient in equipment installation and troubleshooting.
• Strong knowledge of data center operations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Job Decription

• Perform sample analysis accurately in accordance to the specified standard methods
• Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents
• Standardize reagent/equipment when necessary
• Review the results and retest when it is suspect
• Upkeep the cleanliness of work areas, apparatus and equipment
• Perform any tasks as assigned by team leader or supervisor

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Advanced/Higher/ Graduate Diploma In Chemistry or equivalent
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in Petroleum Testing is required for this position.
• Experienced lab technician specialized in Petroleum Laboratory
• Well spoken English and communication skills
• Computer Literate
• Should be able to work in 12 Hour Shifts
• Able to work during Weekends & Public Holidays
