About the Role

We are seeking a curious Machine Learning Intern to join our ML team. In this role, you will work on ML projects focused on enhancing cybersecurity, improving data protection and building robust ML infrastructure.

**Experience with Cybersecurity is not required.**

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning/deep learning models for security threat detection and prevention
• Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in NLP
• Design and implement NLP models and techniques for text classification, named entity recognition and text generation
• Perform inference and model evaluation
• What we are looking for
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics or related field
• Strong programming skills in Python and experience with ML frameworks (PyTorch, Transformers, Scikit-Learn, etc.)
• Experience with NLP concepts and techniques
• Familiarity with version control systems
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical mindset, and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Curiosity

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of MLOps tools and practices
• Experience with data privacy and protection techniques

Duration

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate with maintenance contractors, review checklists and ensure customer D.O sign-off within the required time.
• Support Data analytics team with ongoing improvement for automation of data gathering, analysis and reporting, including fault detection and root cause identification
• Assist and maintain comprehensive energy conservation action plan with ongoing efforts and include short term, long-term goals
• Prepare operational and maintenance schedule as per the MIS
• Remote monitoring of the system operation and performance and to contact the respective site in any emergency.
• Work with internal teams and deliver the work according to the planned schedule.
• Collaborate with Internal teams regarding any controls and programming related onsite work.

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Sustainable Infrastructure Engineering (Building Services) or any related field.
• A willingness to learn and work in a team environment.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work autonomously and independently.
• Self-starter with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to commit at least 5 months of internship (July 2024 - December 2024)
