Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of workers to complete the assigned jobs on site
• Responsible for training and to oversee the operations
• Supervise work performance to ensure cleaning is carried out in adherence to organisational SOP
• Inspection of the work environment
• Resolve and handle customers’ issues / requests / feedback promptly with strong follow-up actions
• Feedback on staff’s work performance and attitude
• Ability to operate machinery & equipment and to ensure their upkeep and maintenance
• Assist in inventory management as and when required
• Ensure workplace safety and hygiene handling

Requirements:

• Team player with strong interpersonal skills

• Strong leadership skills with maturity to lead a team
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Punctual and responsible
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals handling and machinery will be advantageous

Job Description

• Inspection of electrical and instrumentation systems such as wiring, fixtures, and appliances.
• Identifying faults or hazards.
• Able to troubleshoot system failures.
• Reviewing blueprints to understand wiring placement.
• Testing of electrical systems with oscilloscopes, voltmeters, and ohmmeters.
• Testing of instruments, DCS loop and field calibration.
• Conduct maintenance repairs on faulty fixtures.
• Quick respond to fault requests.
• Provide suggestions for equipment replacement.
• Writing electrical maintenance reports.
• Install new electrical appliances in the building.
• Adhere to safety and performance standards.

Requirements

• Diploma / Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of working experience, preferably in a Process Plant setting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
• Willing to work in Jurong Island (Bus transport from Jurong East MRT)
• Able to work overtime for breakdown and shutdown maintenance & respond to emergency on-call before / after normal working hours.

What you will be doing

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the housekeeping team and vendors in ensuring the highest standard of functioning, cleanliness, order and appearance of all swimming pools and landscaping;
• Involved in inspection and/or hands-on maintenance, repair of pool equipment and showing the proper ways of disinfection, dosing and water balancing in pool water treatment;
• Conduct regular assessment of horticulture maintenance e.g. proper pruning methods for shrubs and trees, condition of landscaping and planting works;
• Ensure proper barricading of the maintenance area and the safety of stakeholders are adhered to;
• Provide support for club events relating to housekeeping;
• Scheduling and keeping track of daily pool and landscape maintenance;
• Daily routine inspections to identify and detect defects and follow up with quick rectification;
• Monitor and maintain cleaning materials and ensure all inventories are adequately stored, recorded and properly maintained;
• To conduct weekly stock checks, plan and execute supply requisitions if necessary;
• Any other duties as assigned from time to time by management.

What we are looking for

• Higher Nitec / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Building or Facilities Management or Estate Management or equivalent;
• Certification in Swimming Pool, Horticulture Maintenance and Operation will be an added advantage;
• Minimum 2 years related working experience;
• Knowledge of repair, service & troubleshooting work of mechanical and electrical systems/equipment in the swimming pool mechanical plant room;
• Ability to communicate clearly and team player;
• Able to work on rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays.
