RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct general repair and maintenance of premises and equipment
• Prepare and arrange rooms in the Home for different functions
• Assist in assets movement and labelling of assets
• Ensure the key facilities are functional and trigger external maintenance when needed Report to the Reporting Officer of any equipment malfunction or breakdown
• Man the Fire Command Centre, CCTV monitoring system, fire safety alarm system and attend to security issues, eg. activate SCDF when required
• Participate as member of the Home's Fire Safety Committee and support Operations to attend to any fire haze
• Ensure that safety precautions are taken in the course of work
• Assist in inventory management
• Any other duties as assigned

• At least 1 year of related experience
• Good team player
• Able to read and write simple English
• Able to lift heavy items
• Able to do shift work, inclusive of weekends and public holidays
• Experience in SAP system is an added advantage

• Data Center Operations Assembler
• Duration - 6months
• Location: Singapore
• Salary: S$2500 to S$3600

In this role you will provide support for the ongoing operations in our data centers. You will replace parts, run cable, populate and depopulate racks, swap tapes and other various manual operations related tasks. You will also work as a member of a larger, coordinated team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Transfer tools, parts, equipment, and supplies to and from work stations and other areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of working environment Assemble/disassemble and populate/depopulate equipment racks.
• Disassemble broken or failed hardware equipment and replace parts per defined process using hand and / or power tools
• Run/install ethernet and fiber optic cable per defined process
• Operate barcode scanners and associated software tools Follow detailed instructions and perform other tasks as directed.
• Must possess a positive attitude and be be able to work well within a team oriented environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma. In lieu of education, 2 years of relevant experience. 3 years of general work experience in some skilled (non-technical) field Speak and write English and fluently and idiomatically.
• Strength: Medium to heavy materials handling required e.g. lifting, pushing/pulling, etc. Must be able to exert muscle force to lift at least 50 lbs (23 kg)
• Stamina: Must be able to exert yourself physically over extended periods of time including frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing / pulling and lifting Manual dexterity: Must be able to perform component level repairs on equipment
• Comprehension: Must be able to understand and execute frequent oral and written instructions
• Attitude: Must possess a positive attitude and be be able to work well within a team oriented environment Environment: Must be comfortable working in a physically demanding environment

Shift-work / Holidays: Must be willing and able to be flexible in work schedule, including working holidays and shift based schedules

You are responsible for the general maintenance of the home. Ensuring home's equipment, gadgets and instruments are maintained at optimal functioning level at all times. Duties include maintaining a safe environment within the home such as managing visitors' entrance and departure, ensuring safe and smooth traffic flow.

• Manage day to day operations in inventory management e.g. receiving of stocks, weekly distribution of supplies to wards
• Assets management and labeling of assets
• Update on stock level and replenishment where required
• Improving productivity standards
• Issuance and receiving of stocks
• Create Purchase Requisition and receive Purchasing Order
• Ensure orders are met and delivery are carried out in a timely manner

This position is responsible for overseeing overall building maintenance and security operation for all Central Offices (“CO”), includes conducting inspection, coordinating maintenance/ improvement programs and projects, compile data for reporting and forecasting future needs and costs.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in operations and implementation of facilities management programmes, including formulating programmes relating to routine and periodic maintenance works, plan and implement the cyclical replacement/ enhancement works for all Central Offices
• Support Manager for preparation of operation and capital budget, monitoring and control to ensure completion within time and cost objectives.
• Assist in contract administration and management, including calling, evaluation, negotiation and award recommendation of tenders/ quotations.
• Support the effective planning and management of activities of outsourced service partners, providing supervision and controlling their performance
• Coordinate with internal associate engineers and the appointed managing agent to ensure maintenance of all systems are being carried out according to plan and contracted scope of work and manage facilities related to timely repair and replacement work.
• Assist to investigate, develop and implement solutions, trouble shoot on day to day operational problems of facilities and building.
• Assist to develop and implement policies, protocol and procedures to maintain full compliance with the prevailing legislative acts and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct periodical quality control inspections at all Central Offices for potential safety hazards and unsafe conditions, initiate corrective measures to maintain a secure, safe and healthy work environment (the inspections should include after office hours if need be).
• Attend to all emergency/crisis on and off hours and provide a timely response to incidents as they arise and assist in emergency management and contingency planning.
• Assist Manager to deliver customers’ facilities requests
• Assist in internal and external audits.
• Any task which may be assigned from time to time

Requirements :

• Minimum Degree in Electrical/ Mechanical/ Facilities Management
• Preferably with 5 years relevant working experience
• Well versed in all facets of facilities management with general knowledge of all real estate functions including planning, development, asset management and project management.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills, able to work under pressure in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Computer literate with knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
