• Salary Package: Basic Salary up to $7,000 + AWS + Performance Bonus + Transport Allowance

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the technical management of the tank containers within a defined geographic area (Asia)
• Arrange and coordinate timely delivery of the repair and modification estimates supplied by the depot workshops
• Evaluate correctness and ensure complete and accurate administration
• Coordinate and/or conduct the surveys and inspections on the tank containers
• Coordinate the repair process at the depots and monitor the progress of repairs and modifications
• Monitor cost control of the service providers in your region
• Provide Technical support/troubleshooting when needed
• Control of the stock and repair overviews
• Build and maintain a working relationship with the service providers, subcontractors, and suppliers
• Perform Depot audits as required
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned

Overview

Assistant Facilities Manager needed to assist the Facilities Manager in daily operations eg: coordinating maintenance activities for equipment, systems, facilities and to lead a team in provision of maintenance services.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a facility management program including preventative maintenance and life cycle requirements.
• Supervise, plan & organise a team of on-site contractors in carrying out planned and ad hoc maintenance and their work routines.
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Respond to facility and equipment alarms and system failures.
• Provide prompt response to requests and issues from facility occupants.

Requirements:

• Diploma in Facility Management/Building Services, Property, Estate Management, or relevant discipline.
• Possess good communication skills and customer orientated.
• Possess good adaptability and must be a good team player.
• Possess Fire Safety Manager (FSM) certificate recognised by SCDF would be an advantage.
• Possess a valid Class 3 driving license and own a vehicle would be an added advantage.

The Job

Facilities Management (FM)

• Develop, implement, monitor and accountable for policies and procedures for maintaining the organization’s facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate and manage all facility-related projects and renovations including construction of new facilities. Ensure the safety and security of all facilities and equipment.
• Ensure the timely negotiation and renewal of facility-related contracts and government permits and licenses.
• Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to facilities and equipment, by driving and collaborating with stakeholders to implement and practice safety guidelines. To follow up on the audit findings and recommendations resulting from any regulatory authorities.
• Develop and lead in implementing and monitoring emergency management and in Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).

Bio-Medical Engineer (BME)

• Develop, implement, monitor and accountable for the efficient and effective management and routine preventive maintenance of medical equipment and devices of the various departments.
• Evaluate, select and recommend contractors/vendors to ensure optimal preventive maintenance of all medical equipment and devices, including its required annual budgeting
• Undertake any other duties as and when assigned.

The Person

• Diploma or Degree holder with minimum three (3) years of working experience in Facilities Management and/or Bio-Medical Engineering.
• Possess excellent technical knowledge and skills.
• Strong communication skills in engaging and managing user expectations.
• Strong understanding of managing facilities and bio-medical equipment.
• A problem solver, with hands-on approach to plan and execute well.
• Able to think and work independently, with minimal supervision.
• Meticulous in attending to incidents and ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Builds rapport within teams and able to contribute within a matrix organisation structure.

• Ensure that all building systems (ACMV, electrical, plumbing & sanitary, security, cleaning, pest control, landscape etc.) are operating effectively.
• Supervise scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks for equipment and infrastructure.
• Work with external service providers to ensure service quality and compliance with contracts.
• Assist in identifying issues, tracking progress, and ensuring timely completion of repairs.
• Ensure the facility complies with local building codes, fire safety regulations, and other applicable laws.
• Support the client in creating and managing the annual facility budget.
• Monitor and report on facility-related expenditures to ensure costs are kept within budget.
• Assist in purchasing materials, tools, and services required for the maintenance and operation of the facility.
• Help maintain a safe and healthy work environment by enforcing workplace safety standards and regulations.
• Ensure the facility complies with sustainability practices, such as waste management and energy conservation.
• Provide leadership and direction to janitorial, maintenance, and security personnel.
• Ensure proper management of facility supplies, tools, and equipment.
• Track and update records for all facility assets and equipment to ensure they are functioning and well-maintained.
• Ensure that emergency response plans are in place and that employees are aware of emergency protocols.
• Lead the team in generating regular reports on facility operations, maintenance activities, and financial status.
• Keep accurate documentation on maintenance work, vendor contracts, safety inspections, and compliance audits.
• Support in managing situations such as power outages, plumbing failures, or other facility emergencies.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

• Diploma in Facilities Management/ Electrical engineering/ Mechanical engineering or equivalent with min. of 3 years of relevant experience
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for liaising with vendors, staff, and management.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety standards.
• Familiarity with facility management software (e.g., CMMS systems).
• Budgeting and financial management skills.
• FSM and CFME accredited will be an advantage
