The Job
Facilities Management (FM)
- Develop, implement, monitor and accountable for policies and procedures for maintaining the organization’s facilities and equipment.
- Coordinate and manage all facility-related projects and renovations including construction of new facilities. Ensure the safety and security of all facilities and equipment.
- Ensure the timely negotiation and renewal of facility-related contracts and government permits and licenses.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations related to facilities and equipment, by driving and collaborating with stakeholders to implement and practice safety guidelines. To follow up on the audit findings and recommendations resulting from any regulatory authorities.
- Develop and lead in implementing and monitoring emergency management and in Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and in Enterprise Risk Management (ERM).
Bio-Medical Engineer (BME)
- Develop, implement, monitor and accountable for the efficient and effective management and routine preventive maintenance of medical equipment and devices of the various departments.
- Evaluate, select and recommend contractors/vendors to ensure optimal preventive maintenance of all medical equipment and devices, including its required annual budgeting
- Undertake any other duties as and when assigned.
The Person
- Diploma or Degree holder with minimum three (3) years of working experience in Facilities Management and/or Bio-Medical Engineering.
- Possess excellent technical knowledge and skills.
- Strong communication skills in engaging and managing user expectations.
- Strong understanding of managing facilities and bio-medical equipment.
- A problem solver, with hands-on approach to plan and execute well.
- Able to think and work independently, with minimal supervision.
- Meticulous in attending to incidents and ability to work with tight deadlines.
- Builds rapport within teams and able to contribute within a matrix organisation structure.
